WWW Wednesday Header

“WWW” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Taking On A World of Words.

Hi everybody, and welcome to a new WWW Wednesday! For this post, we’ll be answering three questions (the 3 Ws):

  1. What did you recently finish reading?
  2. What are you currently reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

Just Finished Reading
Caught Up by Liz Tomforde

I recently finished reading Caught Up by Liz Tomforde as ebook.

Caught Up is the third book in the Windy City romance series and another hit! Even though I had a rough start with the first book, Mile High, I’m so happy I continued reading because this has become one of my favorites! Caught Up is a single dad sports romance and features Kai, professional baseball player who’s struggling with balancing being a single dad and his sports career, and Miller, the coach’s daughter brought in to nanny for 2 months while she’s struggling with burn-out in her own career.

Loved it, full review coming soon!

Currently Reading
The Fragile Threads of Power by V.E. Schwab

I am currently reading The Fragile Threads of Power by V.E. Schwab as audiobook.

I’m so happy that I got in a re-read of the original Shades of Magic trilogy before starting this new installment because my emotional connection to these characters is still super high because of it, and as such I’m even more invested in this story. But despite being happy to be reunited with the old characters, I’m also already loving the new characters and so far this is proving to be another masterpiece!

I Want To Die But I Want to Eat Tteokbokki by Baek Se-Hee

I am currently reading I Want to Die But I Want to Eat Tteokbokki by Baek Se-Hee in physical book format.

I was drawn to this book because of the colorful cover and genius title featuring this book’s mental health focus and one of my favorite Korean street foods. This is a non-fiction memoir and is basically a collection of transcripts from the author’s sessions with her therapist. It’s a unique format and insightful, honest and relatable.

Reading Next

As usual, I’m a huge mood reader so who knows what I’ll be reading next? Until the moment I pick up a book, not even me knows. But here are a few possibilities:

Tell Me:
What are you currently reading?
Have you read any of these books already?
