Books I Recommend to Others the Most

20230509 Books I Recommend to Other the Most

Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Hi everybody and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday! Today’s topic is books we recommend to others the most. I’m not quite sure how to I managed to get this post down to 10 books… and that’s because I didn’t. I mean, how could I? So anyway, here’s what I did get…

Any Annette Marie

We all know this blog is little more than an altar to Annette Marie books. I mean, I can admit that. Also, I have zero regrets, because her fantasy series are seriously amazing and addictive and have the best slow-burn romances, okay?

Any Emily Henry

Maybe it’s because I just read and loved Happy Place. But all of Emily Henry’s books are just so good and feel like they were written just for me… and millions of other people too of course, so that’s why I recommend them!

Any TJ Klune (but especially these ones)

Okay, I have not (yet) read all of TJ Klune’s HUUUGE backlist. But those books I have read? I will rave about them all day long and recommend them to EVERRRYONE! I mean, found families, amazing banter and adorable queer romances? Yes, please.

Any Christina Lauren

The moment anyone will even hint to me about loving rom-coms… I will bust out the Christina Lauren books because they are like catnip for any romantic soul.

But Also…

Ninth House is my go-to recommendation for feminist, dark academia. The Song of Achilles is the classic Greek mythology retelling with beautiful writing. Sorcery of Thorns has fierce librarians and sarcastic sorcerers, so really who wouldn’t like it? And Dear Aaron is my go-to Mariana Zapata rec for anyone who loves a good sloooow-burn romance.

And Many More…

I mean, I created this book blog so I could recommend books on a regular basis… Of course there’s no way I could choose only 10 books!

  1. Christina Lauren has proven to be very hit or miss with me, but I loved both Autoboyography and Love and Other Words. They were the first two I ever read from CL and are still my favorites.

  5. Emily Henry books seem to be universally loved and easy to recommend if the reader enjoys that style/contemporary books. 🙂 I don’t think I’ve read another by her outside of her debut, but I would like to give another of them a chance at some point. Just have to make the time. 🙂
