WWW Wednesday Header

“WWW” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Taking On A World of Words.

Hi everybody, and welcome to a new WWW Wednesday! For this post, we’ll be answering three questions (the 3 Ws):

  1. What did you recently finish reading?
  2. What are you currently reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

Just Finished Reading
Mage Assassins and Other Misfits by Annette Marie and Rob Jacobsen

I just finished reading Mage Assassins & Other Misfits by Annette Marie and Rob Jacobsen in ebook format.

I didn’t know just how much I had actually missed Kit and the world of the Guild Codex since my last read. But then I dived into this book and (to put it in “beloved” bookish phrases) I could finally release the breath I hadn’t realised I’d been holding. Not only was it just so amazing to be back inside of this wonderful world, but it also felt really natural to dive back in. I wasn’t lost, my goldfish brain didn’t need to do a re-read or refresh my memories. I just slipped right back in and felt as if I never left. That’s when you know you’re reading something exceptional. Read my full review.

Currently Reading
The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo

I am currently reading The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo as audiobook.

I’m only a few chapters in, but so far I’m really enjoying Leigh Bardugo’s latest novel! It’s dark and moody and while I’m not as obsessed with the characters like I am with the Ninth House crew YET, I definitely see the potential!

This Summer Will Be Different by Carley Fortune

I am currently reading This Summer Will Be Different by Carley Fortune as ebook.

I’m about 70% into this one and I’m really enjoying it! I’m loving the chemistry between Lucy and Felix, the dual POV and the friendship between Lucy and Bridget.

Reading Next

As usual, I’m a huge mood reader so who knows what I’ll be reading next? Until the moment I pick up a book, not even me knows. But here are a few possibilities:

Tell Me:
What are you currently reading?
Have you read any of these books already?
