Bookish Superpowers I Wish I Had

Bookish Superpowers I Wish I Had

Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Hi everybody and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!

First of all, I’m sorry for my being a bit MIA and my lack of commenting the past few weeks. It’s been a month… but I promise I’ll do my best to catch up soon!

Today’s post is all about bookish superpowers I wish I had. What a cool topic! That said, I don’t think my 10 wishes are super original or creative, but they’d still make me very happy if they were true πŸ™‚ Let’s go!

  1. I wish I’d always know exactly what book to read next. Choosing my next book is always such a hassle. I can spend hours browsing my TBR trying to find the perfect book I’m in the mood for, only to constantly second-guess myself and try to find another book.
  2. Similarly, I wish I had the uncanny ability to only pick up books I LOVE. No more meh books, only OMG I LOVE IT – 5 STAR BOOKS!
  3. I wish I could magically set the perfect mood for reading: chores done, nobody bothering me, cozy reading weather, food ready and nowhere to be. Also, if I could not fall asleep while reading in the evening, that would be superb!
  4. Similarly, I wish I could magically make money so I don’t actually have to work 40 hours a week for a living and could choose to read books all day long if I want to… πŸ˜‰
  5. I wish my reviews would magically write themselves the moment I finish a book. Eloquently and with minimal keyboard smashes…
  6. I wish I had a magic library in my house that magically expands to fit all the books I want. Like, I would NEVER run out of shelf space.
  7. I wish I could choose to forget about a book completely and relive it for the first time all over again.
  8. I wish I had the power to turn all my favorite books into PERFECT movie/TV adaptations. Perfectly casted, the right vibes and including ALL the crucial scenes that hit the spot.
  9. I wish I’d remember what happened in a previous book in a series perfectly, so I’d never struggle when reading a sequel again.
  10. And lastly, I also wish I could time travel so I’d never have to wait for an anticipated release ever again.

  1. What fun superpowers! I too would like some favorite books adapted as the perfect adaptation. That indeed would be a marvelous thing. πŸ™‚

  2. These are such fun superpowers! We must be in a different time zone, because it’s still Monday and 8:45 here. πŸ˜‚ But great post!

  3. Hahaha Lindsey! These are brilliant! “with minimal keyboard smashes” I feel that one!

  4. OMG, endless room for my books would be amazing! I’m currently doing the hard task of purging my shelves.

  5. OMG yes to so many of these! I had a few similar ones on my list today as well. I would love for my reviews to just magically be written. And I would want the superpower to make all the money so I can indulge in this expensive hobby forever, please! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜

    Also, hope you’re doing okay!

So many will be on my list today πŸ˜‚

  7. #5! If my reviews could write themselves, that would be awesome. What a great list! I hope things are going okay now since you have had a month.

  8. I could do with a few of these superpowers. Especially #2 #7 and #8
