WWW Wednesday Header

“WWW” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Taking On A World of Words.

Hi everybody, and welcome to a new WWW Wednesday! For this post, we’ll be answering three questions (the 3 Ws):

  1. What did you recently finish reading?
  2. What are you currently reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

Just Finished Reading
The Fake Mate by Lana Ferguson

I just finished reading The Fake Mate by Lana Ferguson as ebook.

I highly enjoyed The Fake Mate. It’s a steamy shifter romance with fake dating and grumpy/sunshine elements and I thought it a was very unique and fresh take on shifter romances. The chemistry between Mack and Noah was very strong, believable and swoony. Despite the fact that I’ve read quite a few shifter romances already, this is the first that really emphasised certain aspects like glands and heat and especially knotting and while I was a bit confused and hesitant at first (and very purposely decided NOT to google) and I also think this may not be for everyone, I still ended up NOT hating any of it either 🙂
Four stars for me.

Currently Reading
Wild At Heart by K.A. Tucker

I am currently (re-)reading Wild at Heart by K.A. Tucker as audiobook.

I recently finished my Simple Wild re-read and dove right into a re-read for Wild at Heart. It’s the perfect time with all the snow here recently, which has really helped set the mood for this re-read.

Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross

I am currently reading Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross in ebook format.

I just started this one, so no thoughts yet.

The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J. Maas

I am currently (still) (re-)reading The Assassin’s Blade by Sarah J. Maas in physical book format.

I’m still working on this re-read. I’m nearing the final novella and I have to admit I’m stalling a bit because I know it will break my heart all over again…

And something else.. I am also currently reading Remain Nameless by HeyJude19 on AO3.

Yes, that’s right, I got into fanfiction. Dramione fanfiction to be precise. I was listening to a bookish podcast and one of the hosts was raving about this fic and I really wanted to give this a try. This is a fluffy, cute, healing, slow-burn but also smutty romance between Draco and Hermione that takes place after the events of the books (epilogue not counting). It’s super long and addictive and I’m definitely glad to be back in this world with these characters but not supporting JKR. Definitely recommend to any fanfic lovers!

Reading Next

As usual, I’m a huge mood reader so who knows what I’ll be reading next? Until the moment I pick up a book, not even me knows. But here are a few possibilities:

Tell Me:
What are you currently reading?
Have you read any of these books already?
