Books With One-Word Titles On My TBR

Books With One-Word Titles On My TBR

Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Hi everybody and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday! Today we’re focusing on books with one-word titles and phew, this was not an easy one. To make sure this wasn’t almost exactly similar to a previous post I did on this back in 2020, I decided to focus on my TBR only today. So these are all books with one-word titles on my TBR (either backlist or upcoming):

Have you read any of these already? Or any also on your TBR?

  1. Apart from Susan’s, I don’t think I’ve heard of these titles. Hers always looks so fun and cute though. 🙂

    1. Susan’s books do look so fun and cute indeed!

  2. Vespertine is still on my tbr as well. Gallant was a great read.

    1. Glad to hear you enjoyed Gallant! Hope we’ll both love Vespertine when we try it 🙂

    1. Thanks!

  3. I read, and loved, Idol by Kristen Callihan!

Elsie Silver is still a new to me author…. I’m hoping to change that fact by then end of this month!

I hope you have a great Tuesday!

    1. So glad to hear you loved Idol!
I’m new to Elsie Silver to, hope we’ll both love her books when we try them!

      1. My goal is to read one of her novels by the end of August! I have a packed summer reading list, but I’m determined to read this author soon. I’m hoping her writing style lives up to all the hype.

  4. Fangs sound good.

Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.

    1. It does sound good 🙂

  5. Sophie @BewareOfTheReader says:

Yellowface and Vespertine willcertainly be on my list today too!

    1. They are such good examples!

  6. Idol sounds really good. Great list, Lindsey. Have a beautiful day ☕🌞📚💜

    1. It does indeed 🙂 Thanks, Jody!

  7. My sister just preordered Bride, so I’ll probably be reading that at some point!

  9. I totally forgot to check what my list was like back in 2020 but I knew this prompt seemed familiar! 😂 I also had Vespertine on my list today! I thought Fangs was really sweet and I enjoyed Gallant, too. Great list!

    1. Haha, it was a tricky one for me, that’s why I remembered probably 😀 Glad to hear you enjoyed Fangs and Gallant, can’t wait to try those!

  10. I can’t wait for you to read Idol and Flawless. Both are fantastic.

    1. They both sound so good, I hope to try them soon!

  11. Some beautiful covers here… Elektra is phenomenal, and I like Fangs too. Great picks!

    1. Thanks!

  12. What a cool cover for Flawless! I’ve not seen that version before.

    1. It is so nice, isn’t it? I like it more than the original covers actually.

  13. I’m going to have to check out Fangs, I think!

Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!

    1. Fangs does sound like so much fun!

  14. I have not read any of these. I also focused on books I owned/or were on my TBR that I have not read yet.

    1. Great! 🙂

  15. All of these sound good and have now peaked my interest and I will NEVER in my life finish my TBR.

    1. Haha, the struggles of a book lovers with never-ending TBRs, indeed! 🙂

  16. I did the same thing – books with one-word titles on my TBR list. Thankfully, there were exactly ten on there!

    Happy TTT!

    1. Yay! It was a tricky topic indeed, glad we both found ten 😀

  17. I tried reading Gallant last year and I couldn’t really get into it, which to be fair, I did realise I was kind of taking a chance on getting it anyway because I’m a very dialogue focused reader so books with little to no dialogue barely ever work for me, but I love VE Schwab so I had to at least try! Both Elektra and Vespertine are on my TBR, books with women’s names as their titles could be a really good one to do, I might suggest that to Jana!

    1. I’m a bit hesitant to start Gallant as I have a feeling it will not be for me either, but I agree that I have to at least try 🙂
Books with women’s names as titles is a really great one indeed, I would definitely recommend it to Jana!

      1. Yeah I always like to give books by my favourite authors a try, even when it seems like that specific story might not be the one for me. I have done!

  18. Great list. I just read Flawless this past weekend and loved it.

    1. Oh, I look forward to reading Flawless too, glad to hear you loved it!
