“WWW” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Taking On A World of Words.
Hi everybody, and welcome to a new WWW Wednesday! For this post, we’ll be answering three questions (the 3 Ws):
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?

I’ve recently finishing reading In The Lives of Puppets by TJ Klune as audiobook.
This is another favorite by TJ Klune for me!
It has everything I loved in previous TJ Klune faves: lots of humor and hilarious banter, wonderful characters with so much depth, an epic adventure in a unique and intriguing world, and above all, a found family that will tug at your heartstrings.

![Meet Me At The Lake by Carley Fortune](https://i0.wp.com/www.lindseyh.be/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Meet-Me-At-The-Lake-by-Carley-Fortune.jpg?resize=259%2C400&ssl=1)
I am currently reading Meet Me at the Lake by Carley Fortune as ebook.
Fortune’s debut last year, Every Summer After, was one of my favorite reads of the year. I was super excited for Meet Me at the Lake because of that, but unfortunately… I am struggling.
I’m at about 70% but I have to force myself to continue reading. I’m just not invested in the romance and I don’t even really like the characters that much. Maybe the final 30% will change though…
![Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros](https://i0.wp.com/www.lindseyh.be/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Fourth-Wing-by-Rebecca-Yarros.jpg?resize=500%2C750&ssl=1)
I am currently reading Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros as audiobook.
I’m about 50-60% in right now and OMG, the hype is real. This is everything I love in a romantic fantasy. There are characters to root for, characters to hate, grumpy dragons, high stakes, edge-of-your-seat action and a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance that is so far EXQUISITE.
So yeah, this is obviously on its way of becoming a favorite read.

As usual, I’m a huge mood reader so who knows what I’ll be reading next? Until the moment I pick up a book, not even me knows. But here are a few possibilities:

Tell Me:
What are you currently reading?
Have you read any of these books already?

I haven’t read any of these, but the cover of Love Quest looks really fun!
The cover is indeed what drew me to the book 🙂
Knowing you are struggling with Meet Me at the Lake makes me feel better about deciding not to read it. I heard it’s flashback heavy and not in a good way. I am happy you’re loving Fourth Wing. I just finished listening to it earlier this week and loved it. I’m a big fan of Yarros’s books in general, though. I hope you love New Guy. Such a great read!
Meet Me at the Lake is definitely very flashback heavy – I’d say about 50% of it is flashback.
So glad you loved Fourth Wing too! I just finished it and loved it, definitely need to check out more Rebecca Yarros!
Oh, her books are so good!
I’m totally a mood reader!!
Mood readers unite! 🙂
Sorry to hear that Meet Me at the Lake isn’t working that well for you, but glad to hear you’re loving Fourth Wing. I still can’t get over how good that book was!
I just finished Fourth Wing and it was indeed SO GOOD! Definitely worth the hype.
