20230411 Book Covers That Feature Animals

Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Hi everybody and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday! Today’s post is a short but sweet one: book covers that feature animals. I took a dive into my list of read books, as well as my TBR and found… that this was actually a pretty difficult topic! Nevertheless, I managed to find 10 book covers that have an animal on them. From cats to dogs, and from birds to horses, here is my selection:

  1. So looking forward to mooncakes. I have the ebook on preorder. And of course I loved Wolfsong.

    1. Yes, I’m so looking forward to Mooncakes too! And Wolfsong is one of my faves so couldn’t miss that one 😀

  2. I used Wolfsong, too! It was an obvious choice since I’m reading it right now (finally!).

    1. Oh that’s great, I hope you’ll love Wolfsong 🙂

    1. It really does!

  3. Great post today, Lindsey. Have a beautiful day 😊

    1. Thanks so much, Jody!

  4. Fake Dates and Mooncakes will immediately be added to my TBR. I’ve seen that cover a few times and haven’t done so yet, so I think it’s finally time!

Here’s my TTT if you wanna stop by <33

    1. It is indeed such a gorgeous cover, hopefully the story will be equally gorgeous!

  5. Ooh, I love that you found so many different types of animals! I figured dogs would be popular.

    1. So true, I thought I’d find a lot more dogs on covers but I had some trouble coming up with enough examples 🙂

  6. Sophie @BewareOfTheReader says:

I know that Wolfsong and an Enchantment of Ravens will be on my list as well, with Vespertine!

    1. Can’t say no to those gorgeous covers 🙂

  7. The Unbreakable Bladesong Druid! 😍😍😍

    1. Yes, I miss Saber and Zak and Rikr so much <3

  8. I love the covers you chose, especially the whole bottom row.

    1. Thanks! Those are also some of my faves 🙂

  9. I’ve read The Raven King and loved that one (on a side note, Maggie Stiefvater’s covers are always just the best aren’t they?!) and I’ve read An Enchantment of Ravens, wasn’t such a fan of that one but the cover is gorgeous.
    My TTT:

    1. So true about Maggie Stiefvater’s covers! I did like An Enchantment of Ravens but I didn’t love it like I do Sorcery of Thorns – but that cover indeed is gorgeous!

      1. Yeah her cover team always do a really great job. I definitely enjoyed Sorcery of Thorns more too, I liked the characters better, but yes, An Enchantment of Ravens is a very pretty looking book!

  10. I love Bladesong… and The Unhoneymooners as well. Unexpected Everything looks so summery!

    1. Yes, the Unexpected Everything does have such a summery cover 🙂

  11. Love these covers! And I really need to finish the Geekerella series soon!

Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!

    1. Hope you’ll love the Geekerella series (I also still need to read the latest one).

  14. Great covers. I had to go back to 2021 to find books with animals on. It was harder than I thought it would be!

    Have a great week!

    1. Yes, this definitely wasn’t as easy as I’d thought it would be either 🙂
