Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl
Hi everybody and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday! I tweaked the topic for today a teensy little bit – it was originally ‘Books for People Who Liked Author X’ but instead of focusing on an author, I decided to focus on a trope. And one of the tropes I’ve been indulging in lately is the small town romance trope!
There’s just something so fun and whimsical about small town romances. Maybe it’s all my years of bingeing Gilmore Girls, but I do love small town settings with a host of quirky town people and all the entertainment and drama that ensues.
So without further ado, here are 10 small town romances I enjoyed lately!
Lovelight Farms by B.K. Borison
The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker
All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata
Well Met by Jen DeLuca
It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey
Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score
Every Summer After by Carley Fortune
The Switch by Beth O’Leary
Faking It With The Grump by Kate O’Keeffe
The Tourist Attraction by Sarah Morgenthaler
The Tourist Attraction is one that sounds really fun and Beth’s books are stories I still really want to read. Someday! 🙂
Both of them were definitely really fun reads, so I hope you’ll love them when you give them a try someday 🙂
I am always so impressed by the personalization that folks bring to this weekly post. Thank you.
So true! Thanks 🙂
I am quite partial to small towns, having come from a small town 😉 Great twist 😀
Oh, that’s great! I didn’t grow up in a small town, but I did kind of move to one 😀
I think I might go rogue too 🤣 and I have read and loved many of these!
It’s good to go rogue 😉 Glad we have many faves in common!
They all sound lovely. 🙂

I hope you’ll love any of these you’ll try! I just finished Things We Never Got Over and I think that’s definitely one you’d also enjoy.
I don’t read a lot of romances, but I love books about small towns. I like that each town has its own personality.
So true! A good small town setting can almost feel like its own character in a book.

Love your choice for this week’s TTT. (And I also love small town romances!) Well Met is one of my favorite reads, and I also enjoyed The Tourist Attraction and The Simple Wild. 😀
Thanks! Yes, small town romances are the best 🙂
Small towns are fun. Nice tweak. Have a great week!
Small towns are fun indeed! Thanks!
The Switch has some a fun small town feel. Even when you’re in London, the way it’s written still gives small town vibes. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier.

So true about the London parts!
Well Met looks so fun, and so does The Switch. I do like a good small town setting.
Both were really fun reads!
I’m not really a romance reader, but I do love the quirky small town vibes of Gilmore Girls (one of my annual rewatch shows!).

Gilmore Girls is the best! I’m long overdue for a new rewatch 😀
Ha ha me too, will probably go for it in the autumn, always feels like the right time to rewatch GG (though I did my rewatch in the summer last year!).
I love small town romance books! Every Summer After and The Switch are two I liked. Glad to see The Simple Wild on your list, because I’ve been meaning to read it.
I hope you’ll love The Simple Wild, it’s one of my favorites!
I don’t read much romance, but when I do, I definitely like the small-town trope. I’ll have to give these a try when I’m in the mood for a swoony, small-town love story.
Happy TTT (on a Sunday)!
I hope you’ll find a book you love here whenever you’re in the mood for a small town romance 🙂
