I never understood why the whole world has such problems with teenage girls being a fan of something. The world fangirl has always had such a horrible connotation, like being a fangirl is something to avoid at all costs. But really, it’s just having a passion for something, and no matter your gender, you shouldn’t be afraid to express and cheer for what makes you happy! Life is tough enough already, so if you like something just go ahead and get your proud fangirl on! Signing off, another proud fangirl!
As someone who grew up as a huge fan of boy bands in the ’90s and ’00s, I feel a little attacked!
Me too! I still love boy bands today and it always makes me so angry when people mock that.
That quote is so true!
It really is, unfortunately.
Amen to that!
So true. I heard jabs at people all the time for liking boy bands, especially K-pop.
K-pop indeed gets so judged, it gets me so riled up whenever I hear people judging other people for something they like.
So true. Why can’t people just let people like what they like?
Exactly, I’ll never understand why (some) people have the need to judge other people for what makes them happy.
