Hi everybody, and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!

Today’s all about our Fall TBR and even though I have a huge backlist I should get to, fall is just too tempting with all the new releases so I’m just being honest right now and saying I’ll probably only read new releases this fall. So here’s the list of fall 2019 releases I’m most excited about and are definitely on my fall TBR!

 Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell

Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell

September 24th

I am both ecstatically happy and low-key terrified at the thought of more Simon and Baz. Please let this live up to all my expectations.

Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo

Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo

October 1st

It’s Leigh Bardugo’s first adult novel. Honestly, this book was already on my ‘WANT IT’ list purely because it’s Leigh Bardugo.

Crier's War by Nina Varela

Crier’s War by Nina Varela

October 1st

A slow-burn enemies-to-lovers f/f fantasy romance that has already been getting rave reviews from ARC reviewers? Uhh yes, please!

The Beautiful by Renee Ahdieh

The Beautiful by Renee Ahdieh

October 8th

I haven’t read about vampires in a while and am totally ready to dive back in. Especially if the story is set in New Orleans and is written in the lush and gorgeous writing style of Renée Ahdieh.

The Alchemist and an Amaretto by Annette Marie

The Alchemist and an Amaretto by Annette Marie

October 11th

Seriously, do I even need to explain at this point? Annette Marie will always be on my most anticipated list.

Twice in a Blue Moon by Christina Lauren

Twice in a Blue Moon by Christina Lauren

October 22nd

It’s safe to say that Christina Lauren’s books are pretty much just auto-buy for me. They just write the most addictive, most fun and most relatable romances and I’m really looking forward to this story about second chances.

Slaying Monsters For The Feeble by Annette Marie

Slaying Monsters For The Feeble by Annette Marie

November 1st

By the time this comes out, it’ll be my NINETEENTH Annette Marie book. And it may be my most anticipated book yet. I need more Robin/Zylas goodness and I need it now!

The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern

The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern

November 5th

I was late to the The Night Circus train, but now that I have firmly boarded that plane, I can’t wait to lose myself in the beautiful whimsy of Erin Morgenstern’s next novel.

Call Down The Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater

Call Down the Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater

November 5th

Note to self: reread The Raven Cycle before this release.
Also, YAASSS MORE RONAN. Please just give me some happy Ronan/Adam scenes, please?

The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black

The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black

November 19th

THE FACT THAT THIS BOOK HAS BEEN MOVED UP TO A 2019 RELEASE DATE HAS MADE MY YEAR, OKAY? I need more Cardan and Jude, stat.

Tell Me:
Do you get intimidated by books?
Any book on this list that you think I should definitely just get to?

  1. Is there anyone who won’t be reading Queen of Nothing this fall? I’m going to binge the trilogy!

  2. The Crier’s War has such a pretty cover +.+ And yes please some Ronan/Adam goodness thank you.

  3. Goodness. This post is pretty much filled with all the books I need in my life right NOW. I’m still a bit on the fence about Ronan’s book though. But that’s more due to me not falling in love with The Raven Cycle like I expected to? Guess I’m scared this one won’t live up to the hype either, haha. Maybe some day!
But I’m soooo jumping on that vampire train. I’ve been waiting for those bloodsuckers to make a reappearance in books and it’s finally happening!

  4. Lovely choices !

  6. Yes yes yes to The Starless Sea! And I’ve just started reading Christina Lauren this year, so hopefully I’ll get to their new one, too!

  7. I’ve got Wayward Son on hold. Hope it comes in soon!

  13. The Beautiful, Ninth House, The Queen of Nothing, and Call Down the Hawk all made my list this week too. You’re right though, this fall there are so many amazing books coming out!

  17. Crier’s War sounds pretty good, and I’ve been hearing lotsa good things about the Annette Marie series. Also the Beautiful is on a lot of lists, and it looks great.

  18. I’m also looking forward to Wayward Son, Ninth House, The Starless Sea, and The Queen of Nothing. Most likely will only be able to buy TQON this fall because I have too much else going on but I’m so excited to read about Jude and Cardan again!

  19. I’m so so so excited for Ninth House and Call Down the Hawk ??

  20. Can not wait for Call Down the Hawk. And I would love to get my hands on Twice in a Blue Moon soon. ? Happy Reading!

  21. Great list! I’m SO excited for Ninth House and The Queen of Nothing, and I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on Wayward Son, too. Crier’s War is definitely one I’m interested checking out – I need more f/f fantasy in my life.

  22. I saw several you feature on others lists this past week including Erin’s and Christina’s! Just read my first Christina Lauren book (The Unhoneymooners), and while I didn’t 100% love it, I will give another of theirs a chance. “The Beautiful” seems to be getting lots of hype too!!

I never read all of my seasonal TBR picks, but it’s always a fun list to make; hope you can enjoy all of yours, Lindsey!! 🙂
