Welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!

Today is all about hidden gems and as I mentioned before – I am not that good at discovering hidden gems. Most books I read are ones that are highly hyped or at least recommended to me already by trusted blogger friends. I am working on this, but in the meantime I asked Goodreads for help. (What would we do without Goodreads?)

I basically checked the list of books I read and sorted them on the number of ratings they received. The first book on my list only received about 40 ratings, while the last one received about 2.600 ratings. Which is not a lot. (To give you an idea: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone has 5.536.439 ratings to date)

So in conclusion: these books are great and deserve some more love!

Free Fall by Joyce Sweeney

Free Fall by Joyce Sweeney

Ok I can kind of understand that this book isn’t rated that highly since I read it when I was a young adult myself (not THAT long ago but still). But it’s a lovely tale about 4 boys getting stuck in a cave and having to find a way out while feeling all these feelings and emotions and you know I’m a sucker for emotions, okay?

The Spell Weaver Trilogy by Annette Marie

The Night Realm by Annette Marie The Shadow Weave by Annette Marie The Blood Curse by Annette Marie

Annette Marie’s latest series is set in her (more well known) Steel & Stone series world, but focusing on other characters and it is criminally underrated.

Running With Lions by Julian Winters

I JUST finished this book and adored it. Though I’m not a soccer fan at all, add adorable boys and some romance and I’m sold.

The Red Winter trilogy by Annette Marie

Want by Cindy Pon

I loved this sci-fi set in a fictional Taipei and hope to see a sequel soon 🙂

I Was Born For This by Alice Oseman

I Was Born For This by Alice Oseman

Let’s make a deal, I’ll finally get to Radio Silence if you all show this Alice Oseman book some love… win-win, right?

Noteworthy by Riley Redgate

Tash Hearts Tolstoy by Kathryn Ormsbee

Ace rep. We need to show books with ace rep a lot more love, okay?

Let’s Talk About Love by Claire Kann

Again with the amazing ace rep! BIROMANTIC ACE REP! Why doesn’t this get more love?

How To Repair A Mechanical Heart by J.C. Lillis

Have you read any of these?
