Welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!

Today’s topic is all about book-to-screen adaptations and I particularly want to talk about LGBTQIA+ representation on the screen. Though we still have a looong way to go to get great representation on on our screens and not everybody handles it correctly (looking at you, J.K Rowling, Disney and Marvel), there is also some progress.

Tv shows featuring queer characters are existing more and more. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina stars a great trans character, played by an actual non-binary actor. Some of my favorite LGBTQIA+ books have already received the screen adaptation (Love, Simon) and others are on their way (What If It’s Us, They Both Die At The End).

But there’s still plenty of room for more. So big tv and movie execs, if you happen to be reading this (and why wouldn’t you? haha), I highly recommend all of these stories to be adapted for the screen!

For now  though, here’s my February wrap up!
