10 Of My Shortest Reads

20240206 Shortest Reads

Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Hi everybody and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!

Today’s post is all about short books. You know, I used to think that I was not a novella reader AT ALL, but turns out I quite easily got to 10 books. So maybe I am a little bit of a novella reader anyway… Here are 10 of my shortest reads so far!

The Summer Palace by C.S. Pacat (30 pages)
We Should All Be Feminists by Chimimanda Ngozi Adichii (65 pages)
The Guild Codex Comic Collection by Annette Marie and Ashleigh Zanardi (90 pages)
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (96 pages)
Under One Roof by Ali Hazelwood (112 pages)
Stuck With You by Ali Hazelwood (127 pages)
Love, Creekwood by Becky Albertalli (128 pages)
For the Love of Cupidity by Raven Kennedy (136 pages)
More Than A Little Warped by Annette Marie and Rob Jacobsen (137 pages)
Below Zero by Ali Hazelwood (139 pages)

  1. I see Ali’s on many lists. She seems like a well loved and enjoyed author. 🙂 I don’t tend to read all the short reads much, but I have read some that are really quite good.

  2. I still need to read those short Hazelwood stories. One of these days.

  3. A good looking list. I have the Ali Hazelwood books on my TBR pile!

    Have a great week!

  4. Ahhhh I should’ve added More Than A Little Warped but I forgot about it. I loved that one!

  5. I haven’t read any of these but I’ve heard the Ali Hazelwood ones are fantastic!

  6. The Little Prince has been on several lists this week!

Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.

  7. I still need to read Hazelwood’s novellas. I’ve seen mixed things about them but they look very cute 🙂 Great list!

  8. The only one I’ve read is We Should All Be Feminists. I have had The Little Prince on my TBR for an embarrassingly long time. The rest I’ve not heard of.

  9. Ali Hazelwood’s books are so much fun that you just fly through them.

  10. The only ones I’ve read on your list are Hazelwood’s. I enjoyed them for the most part. They were fun. Nice list!

  11. I am not a huge novella reader either but I also found 10, LOL! Have a great week!

Well I haven’t read any of these 🙁

  13. I adored Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda when I read it years ago, but I’m not sure I ever read Love, Creekwood. I need to fix that!

  14. The Little Prince has also made it to my list. Such a timeless yet short read. Happy reading. My TTT https://readwithstefani.com/top-10-short-books/

I haven’t read any of these and only heard of a couple. I guess you could say I’m not a novella reader.

  16. I love shorter reads, and even novellas, more and more lately for some odd reason.

  17. I love novellas. I don’t read many of them, though, which is weird. I’m excited to read Ali Hazelwood’s novellas as some point. I’m glad to see them on your list. 😀

  18. Ooh nice! My favorite short read is The Awakening by Kate Chopin:)

  19. I don’t read many novellas but I did love Ali Hazelwood’s.
