Welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!

Today’s all about BIG BOOKS. ‘Cause you know, I like big books and I cannot lie… except I am lying a little bit because even though I love big books they also intimidate me and I get frustrated when I spend too long on one book so I only read them sporadically… But I did read some big books in my life so far! Here are the biggest ones, according to Goodreads:

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon: 850 pages

Winter by Marissa Meyer: 827 pages (What? It felt like I read this in a day!)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling: 759 pages

Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer: 756 pages

Brisingr by Christopher Paolini: 748 pages (Itching for a re-read of this series soon)

City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare: 725 pages

    I don’t like big books… and I say this a little too often. 😉

I’m all about the 300-some page novels. To me, that’s the best length or otherwise I kind of begin to feel like I’ll *never* finish the book. But also, I think the fact that I’m a turtle reader makes me a bad lengthy book reader. 😀

Spying lots of Outlander, HP, and SJM on today’s lists. But then these authors/books are a perfect fit for today.

Gabaldon’s books are huge. And I see Clare and Paolini’s books popping up quite a bit. In both cases I didn’t realize they had such long books!
