Welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!
Today’s all about spreading the love! It’s been 2,5 years since I started this blog and though I could write up an entire post about all the wonderful things it brought me (note to self: write this post), today I’d like to talk about probably the best part of becoming a blogger. And that is the blogging community!
Honestly, this community is filled with so many amazing, talented and wonderful bloggers that it’s just a shame not to hype them up. So this post is filled with a lot of hype. Below I share with you some awesome book blogs I definitely hope you’ll check out. Not only is each and every one of them super talented, kind and amazing at the blogging game, I also consider them my online friends. They deserve all the love, so if you’re reading this post, please go check out their blogs and give them some love by leaving them a comment and/or follow!
(Note: though I love the idea behind this post and I love spreading the love, this post also gave me quite some anxiety. Because as much as I want to, I can’t mention every single book blog I know and love here. I already cheated and listed twelve instead of ten. And there are so many good ones that I adore, not just the ones listed below. So I’m thinking of making this into a regular feature, or add in some book blogger love in my monthly wrap-ups or something. In the meantime, if your blog is not on this list, but we still interact regularly, rest assured, you are awesome and I love you
Starting this post off with the three awesome ladies of The Blog Squad, starting with the lovely Di! Di is my fellow Annette Marie fangirl and has a bookish taste that is very similar to my own, so naturally we get along splendidly 🙂 She has well-written reviews, lovely discussion posts and has recently started her own bookstagram, which is already one of my favorites!
Our Blog Squad member number two is Amy from A Magical World of Words. Amy’s blog has not only got great book reviews, but also thoughtful movie reviews, writing updates and her incredibly important and well-written posts tackling romanticised abuse. So definitely check them out!
And Blog Squad member number 3 is the lovely Uma, who is also my awesome buddy reader as we read the entire Heroes of Olympus series together. She is the sweetest Percabeth and Nikolai fangirl and has an awesome bookstagram that looks so good it lifts my mood just browsing through it <3
Shoutout to my fellow Belgian book blogger Jolien! Jolien is a well-rounded reader who posts reviews on many genres, but has a special fondness for fantasy and posts lots of thoughtful discussions. She also has her own Youtube channel which you should definitely check out. Oh, and besides books, we also share a love for kpop and kdramas which I’m always happy about 🙂
My other fellow Belgian book blogger is the lovely Stephanie! Stephanie is a reader of many different genres with a preference for historical fiction. You can check out her blog for reviews, discussions, cover reveals and much more bookish goodies!
Annemieke is a Dutch book blogger who blogs in English and mostly loves fantasy. You should definitely check out her blog for lots of great fantasy reviews, some of the best discussion posts out there, lots of bookish love and just an overall amazing blogging voice!
You can check out Suzanne of The Bookish Libra’s blog for bookish love for many genres, but especially contemporary and historical with a dash of fantasy. Her reviews are always so thoughtful and well written and make you want to pick up the book she’s talking about right away. She’s also such a consistent and kind blogger who you can always count on to provide you with the bookish love!
Marie from Drizzle & Hurricane Books is one of the sweetest book bloggers out there. I especially love her relatable bookish discussions, documented with gifs, where she rants or raves about books and blogging alike and which make you feel like you’re just raving about bookish things with a great friend <3 Besides books, she also has a love for travelling and writing, so you can expect lots of lovely posts about that as well!
Rissi from Finding Wonderland is another one of my favorite bookaholics! She especially loves contemporaries and we can talk about our love of Kasie West forever. Her blog not only features gorgeous graphics, but also thoughtful reviews on books, movies and TV alike! Bonus: check out her lovely Youtube channel!
Check out Angela from Musings Of A Literary Wanderer’s blog for thoughtful reviews on lots of different genres, but mostly contemporary, great discussion posts and other bookish fun. Other than books, Angela loves hiking and travelling (hence the title ‘literary wanderer ‘) and posts fun, picture-filled recaps of hikes and trips that will definitely get your wanderlust going!
Greg from Book Haven’s blog feels like a wonderful escape from the real world, a literal book haven. On his blog you can find lots of fantasy, dystopian and sci-fi goodness, mixed with the occasional thriller or contemporary, so it’s definitely pretty diverse. Other than books, you can also find lots of movie and tv talk, gorgeous art, and a love of used bookstores on his blog, so definitely check it out!
Lauren of Wonderless Reviews is one of the first bookish friends I made since starting this blog, so of course I had to mention her! Though she’s not as active at the moment, her blog features some of the most fun posts, ranging from book reviews (going from fantasy to horror to contemporary), thoughtful discussions, rants and helpful posts on everything ranging from comic books, to blogging, to graphic design. On top of that, she has the most awesome taste in music so go give her some love!
