Hi everybody, and welcome to a new WWW Wednesday! For this post, we’ll be answering three questions (the 3 Ws):
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
I just finished reading Father Material (London Calling #3) by Alexis Hall as ebook.
I was a bit hesitant to start this one because as much as I ADORED book 1, I definitely had mixed feelings about book 2. I shouldn’t have worried, book 3 definitely made me love this series and its characters so much again. This was basically like a peek into Luc and Oliver’s life, now that they’re ready to add some more love to their family. It was great to be reunited with these characters, see their daily struggles and how they overcome it with open and honest communication. Also, the secondary characters are a hoot as always. 4 STARS
I also just finished re-reading A Court of Mist and Fury (ACOTAR #2) by Sarah J. Maas as physical book.
Still continuing my ACOTAR series re-read in preparation for the next book coming out in October. And still think this is my favorite book of them all. 5 STARS
I am currently re-reading Ninth House (Alex Stern #1) by Leigh Bardugo as audiobook.
Another re-read to prepare for another highly anticipated upcoming release. I may have started this one a bit late, as I don’t think I’ll be able to finish both Ninth House and Hell Bent in time for the release of Dead Beat… but I’ll do my best and hope to stay spoiler-free until I get to finish that one too 🙂
I am also currently re-reading A Court of Wings and Ruin (ACOTAR #3) by Sarah J. Maas as physical book.
My timeline for re-reading this series will hopefully be a bit better than my Ninth House re-read timeline 🙂
I am also currently reading Loving a Vampire is Total Chaos (Total Chaos #1) by Aura Hayes as ebook.
A grumpy detective and a chaotic sunshine vampire? This is fun and unhinged and I’m enjoying it so far. Though I have to admit, the writing could have used some editing as it is a bit clunky and that almost had me putting the book down after 2-3 chapters… But either it got better or I got more used to it, as I’m now over halfway and though the pacing still feels choppy and the characters a bit “surface-level”, I’m still quite enjoying it despite all that…
As usual, I’m a huge mood reader so who knows what I’ll be reading next? Until the moment I pick up a book, not even me knows. But here are a few possibilities:

I didn’t realize Father Material had come out! I really need to jump on that. Hopeless Necromantic sounds fun.
