“WWW” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Taking On A World of Words.
Hi everybody, and welcome to a new WWW Wednesday! For this post, we’ll be answering three questions (the 3 Ws):
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
I just finished reading Comfort Read by Dylan Morrison as ebook (ARC).
This book has so many elements I love: small town, bookstore setting, fake dating and celebrity romance. Sage is a famous actor who needs to fix his reputation. Kit is a bookstore owner who needs funding to keep his bookstore from shutting down. The answer to both their problems is of course to pretend to be in a stable, loving relationship. I mean, the tropes I love are all there, but on top of that it was also written so well! The character development, the slow burn romance… This was adorable and heartwarming and I couldn’t put it down. Full review to come. 4,5 STARS
I also just finished re-reading Ninth House (Alex Stern #1) by Leigh Bardugo as audiobook.
My goal was to re-read Ninth House and Hell Bent before the release of Dead Beat… but I started a bit too late for that *oops* Nevertheless, I’m still taking my time to enjoy the re-read because I STILL ADORE THIS BOOK SO MUCH! 5 STARS
I am currently re-reading Hell Bent (Alex Stern #2) by Leigh Bardugo as audiobook.
HELL HEIST CREW!! Still loving these characters so much.
I am also currently re-reading A Court of Wings and Ruin (ACOTAR #3) by Sarah J. Maas as physical book.
I’m about halfway through this book – will I be able to finish this re-read AND A Court of Silver Flames in time for the release of A Court of Splintered Harmony? Might be tricky, but I’ll do my best!
As usual, I’m a huge mood reader so who knows what I’ll be reading next? Until the moment I pick up a book, not even me knows. But here are a few possibilities:
Tell Me:
What are you currently reading?
Have you read any of these books already?
I’m hoping to pick up Grim Tidings soon.
Me too, hope we’ll both love that one!
Sounds like a fantastic week of reading!
It was indeed 🙂
I got Dead Beat in the mail… I ordered a hardcover but they send me a paperback! 🙁
Ahh that sucks! I can imagine part of you was like “I’ll send this back” but the other part is like “But I want to read it right now!”
I’ve been meaning to read the Alex Stern books. This might be the proper time to do it, with spooky season upon us.
Spooky season is indeed the perfect vibe for the Alex Stern books 🙂
I am currently listening to Stephanie Garber’s Once Upon A series and reading Maria Snyder’s Poison series.. there is a long hold on Dead Beat.. want to read that too.
Oh I heard so much good about the Once Upon A series and hope to try it soon too!
