Book Series I Want to Catch Up On
I have a problem when it comes to catching up on book series, and that is the fact that if I don’t binge read them, I tend to forget big parts about previous books relatively quickly. Which makes me want to re-read previous installments before diving into the next ones, so I have the full experience. But re-reading takes time so I often end up procrastinating that… It’s safe to say this is the main reason why I haven’t caught up on most series yet….
Assistant to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer – 2 books read, 2 books to go
Dark Olympus by Katee Robert – 6 books read, 4 books to go
Hart and Mercy by Megan Bannen – 1 book read, 2 books to go
Crowns of Nyaxia by Carissa Broadbent – 2 books read, 4 books to go (well one hasn’t been published yet, but who knows when I’ll be able to catch up)
The Plated Prisoner by Raven Kennedy – 3 books read, 3 books to go
Book Series I Want to Start
Hierarchy by James Islington – I’ve heard nothing but good things!
When in Rome by Sarah Adams – I love cozy rom-coms so this series sounds perfect.
The Shepherd King by Rachel Gillig – Maybe this upcoming spooky season?
Emily Wilde by Heather Fawcett – I need to start this beloved cozy fantasy series
The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon – I think this is the series that has been on my TBR the longest?

I’m in the same position as you with The Plated Prisoner, and it’s been a bit too long since I read Book 3, probably!

I finished The Adversary to the Villain last month, I was so excited to read it so close to it’s release. I keep hearing about Emily Wilde, and hope to give it a try at some point.

My vote goes for Dark Olympus because I love the series so much!

I often forget things that happen in series too. I think it’s because they sometimes release with quite a bit of time between and I’ve “moved on” to other books or genres by then. Still, I do have a few I would still like to read! Hope you enjoy these all.
Yes, when there is a year or more in between books, most of the details are long gone from my head… only the vibes remain haha 🙂

I haven’t read any.. have most of them on my TBR but there are 10 books in the Dark Olympus series?! I don’t think that one is for me.. 3 max 4 books then I’m out.
Totally get that! They’re shorter books and each one focuses on different characters, but it’s still a lot!
I need to catch up on the Emily Wilde series. I am behind, I have only read the first one.
