“WWW” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Taking On A World of Words.
Hi everybody, and welcome to a new WWW Wednesday! For this post, we’ll be answering three questions (the 3 Ws):
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?

After a hectic May and June in which I didn’t pick up a lot of books, I’m actually reading a bit more again. So it’s a perfect time for a little update!

I just finished reading A Parade of Horribles (Dungeon Crawler Carl #8) by Matt Dinniman as audiobook.
I am all caught up with this series. 8 books. 7 months of my life. WHAT DO I DO NOW? I’m already missing Carl and Donut so much!
I loved this book and how even after 8 books, this does not get stale. Once again, this book felt so different from the previous books. And that ending had me shocked. Did not see that coming at all. 5 STARS – Can’t wait for book 9 (and 10)!

I also just finished reading Game On (Into Darkness #3) by Navessa Allen as ebook.
I was a bit worried about this book as I wasn’t a big fan of Tyler in the previous books. And yes, he’s pretty douchey for a big part of the book. But he and Stella won me over! I really enjoyed this one, and it was a great read to help stop the post-DCC reading slump – 4 STARS

I am currently re-reading Well Met (Well Met #1) by Jen Deluca as audiobook.
I wanted something very unlike Dungeon Crawler Carl to listen to next, and I couldn’t choose so I went with a re-listen of Well Met! I love this series, it’s perfect for summer, it’s light and cozy for a post-DCC listen AND I get to prepare before the next installment in this series releases later this year.

I am also currently reading The Exquisite Torment of Loving Your Enemy (Dearly Beloathed #2) by Brigitte Knightley as ebook.
I’ve been excited for this sequel, and so far the banter and the yearning are on point!

As usual, I’m a huge mood reader so who knows what I’ll be reading next? Until the moment I pick up a book, not even me knows. But here are a few possibilities (can you tell I’m currently craving cozy, whimsical and romantic?):

Tell Me:
What are you currently reading?
Have you read any of these books already?

I’ve really gotta read Dungeon Crawler Carl this year. I won’t accept anything less!
I hope you’ll love it as much as I did, Stephanie! 🙂
I love how colourful your line up of ‘reading next’ books are! I haven’t read DCC 8 yet because I’m scared of what I’m sure will be a heartbreaking ending… And I also hate the idea of having to wait so long until the next book 😂 But maybe I’ll get to it at the end of the year… Idk, let’s see 🤭 DCC is always a fab time though!
Haha I totally get wanting to wait to read DCC 8! I’m already dreading the long wait so much! But you’re right, it is definitely a fab time 🙂
I adored Well Met and I want to read The exquisite Torment of Loving your Eenemy!
I hope you’ll be able to get to The Exquisite Torment of Loving your Enemy soon, Sophie!
I love the color pallete for the books you’re interested in reading next! But I totally feel you on being a mood reader!
Thanks, they do all look pretty together!
Happy to hear that the banter and yearning are still in full force in Exquisite Torment!
They really are on point, loved it!
Ooh, I am so excited for Extracurricular!
Me too, I hope to get to it soon!
