Hi everybody, and welcome to a new WWW Wednesday! For this post, we’ll be answering three questions (the 3 Ws):
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
My reading has been slow lately, as life has been a bit hectic (my mom is moving at the end of the month, and it’s all a bit sudden so lot’s to arrange before then). But I still have some updates so here we go 🙂
I just finished reading This Inevitable Ruin (Dungeon Crawler Carl #7) by Matt Dinniman as audiobook.
7 books down, 1 to go (at least, only one left already released)! This Inevitable Ruin felt somehow even more fast-paced, non-stop action than the other books. Which makes sense, because it’s faction wars, which means… well… war. I liked this one, and I loved the conclusion to the whole Donut/Katia/Blood Sultanate dilemma. 4,5 STARS
I also just finished reading Conquering Reality & Other Misconduct (The Guild Codex: Warped #6) by Annette Marie and Rob Jacobsen as ebook.
Overall, this was an epic finale. It gave me everything I wanted for a finale and everything I’ve come to expect from Annette Marie books: an intricate magical world, lovable characters, the best found family vibes, a lot of action and ton of heart. It’s fun, it’s entertaining and it’s highly addictive. It may be over, but I’m ready to start again from the beginning… 5 STARS [Full review]
I am currently reading A Parade of Horribles (Dungeon Crawler Carl #8) by Matt Dinniman as audiobook.
I’m reading this one slowly because what do you mean, after this I have to wait for the next one? I just spent the last 6 months constantly bingeing a Dungeon Crawler Carl book, I don’t know what I’ll do without Carl and Donut as my constant companions after this…
I am also currently reading Our Perfect Storm by Carley Fortune as ebook.
Not too far in yet, so no thoughts yet, but I do have high hopes for this one!
As usual, I’m a huge mood reader so who knows what I’ll be reading next? Until the moment I pick up a book, not even me knows. And honestly, with the busy month I’ve been having, and the end of my Dungeon Crawler Carl binge looming… I fear I may fall into a huge book slump. Hopefully these books will be good to get me out of that slump…

I just finished my first Carley Fortune book! I didn’t love it but I do think I want to read more from her!
I’m curious which one you read? I’m sorry you didn’t love it and hope you’ll have better luck with the next one. Her books have been a bit hit or miss with me, but I always look forward to her next one 🙂
