Hi everybody, welcome to my March wrap-up and also, happy April!
I’m still deep into my Dungeon Crawler Carl reading haze, but I surprisingly did read something else this month too, so hooray for that 🥳 Here’s what I read, listened to, and watched in March:

The Butcher’s Masquerade by Matt Dinniman (Dungeon Crawler Carl #5)
This series continues to take up most of my reading life, and yet I have no regrets. The only reason I’m getting through less DCC books per month than before is that they keep getting bigger as we go along. I still have two to go and then a new releases in May. We’ll see if I finish my read in time 😉 As for Butcher’s Masquerade: this is easily my favorite of the series so far, though it’s also been the most brutal so far too…. 5 STARS
The Off-Campus Series by Elle Kennedy (Re-Read)
With the news about and stills from the upcoming adaptation on Prime, I got super excited and decided to re-read the books. And two weeks later, I finished all four books. Not bad for someone who’s in a bit of reading slump for anything non-Dungeon Crawler Carl related, right?

March was an AMAZING month for me when it came to music comebacks, as THREE of my favorite bands released new music!
BTS – Swim
Of course I have to start with the long awaited comeback of my favorite kpop band! Arirang may be one of my favorite BTS albums of them all, and I love how their lead single, Swim, is such a soft, melodic, whimsical song. Other favorites from the album are Body to Body, Hooligan, FYA, Normal and Like Animals.
Against The Current – Heavenly
No music video yet, but I’m loving the new song already! And the lyrics about no longer wanting to bear the weight of other’s expectations? Genius 😎👌🔥
Sleeping With Sirens – An Ending In Itself
Teenage little emo me would have a blast pasting these lyrics as my MSN status and Myspace haha 🤠but for real, I do love them a lot! “Can we stop pretending That’s it’s all so good? Can we say what’s real? Say how you feel Yeah I wish you would There’s a happy ending It’ll change with time But for now it’s fine”

One Piece S2
Not much of TV this month, but I did watch and LOVE the new season of One Piece. Watching this is really like stepping into a whole other world for a bit and it’s so fun, adventurous, and magical.
We are officially spring and I am super happy about that. Other than that, it feels like this month was one of those months that flew by. Work has been super busy, and outside of work I’ve still been so tired and falling asleep a lot, so it feels like I haven’t had a lot of time lately that hasn’t been work, sleep, or obligations. There have also been a few days where I had migraines and I missed a week of blog posts because of that. I’m also feeling a slight reading slump happening, so it’s been a bit of a meh month overall 😒 I hope to get a bit of vacation time soon, but for now I’m looking forward to a long Easter weekend 🤗
THINGS THAT MADE ME HAPPY THIS MONTH:
- A few nice dinners out with friends or family
- The first flowers in our garden started to bloom! And also outside of our garden, the first signs of spring are all around!
- BTS IS BACK! Against The Current is back! Sleeping With Sirens is back!
THINGS I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH:
- (Hopefully) even more warm and sunny spring days! (I am tired of my sweaters, bring on t-shirt weather!)
- I have plans with either family or friends every single weekend in April so I am feeling blessed about that.
- A new season of XO Kitty and The Boys! (how more opposite could these 2 shows be, and yet I love them both 😅)
How was your March? What did you read? What did you listen to and what did you watch? What are you looking forward to in April?

Snap for The Butcher’s Masquerade being my favourite DCC book so far! (I also read it in March.)
I love seeing all the flowers blooming! Hooray for spring!
I am happy it’s Spring too! Hope work chills for you soon!
