Hi everybody, welcome to my February wrap-up and also, happy March!
February been a good reading month for me, even if it hasn’t been super diverse. The reason for that is that I’m still deep into the Dungeon Crawler Carl haze. I started the series last month and now I’m on book 5 and all I can think about is this series. I do try to read other books as I’m reading the DCC series on audio and I still have books on my Kindle or physical books, but they’re going a bit more slowly. So my reading has slowed down a bit and is 50% DCC right now. But also, I’m loving this series so I have no regrets 🤭
We’ll see if my reading will diversify a bit more in March, but for now, here’s what I read, listened to, and watched in February:

The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook by Matt Dinniman (Dungeon Crawler Carl #3)
I am so invested in this series! And with every book I’m getting more and more favorite characters (HI ELLE!) and that makes me anxious because it’s not likely all of my favorites will get their HEA, will they? Regardless, I’ll be rooting for them all the same. 4 STARS
The Gate of the Feral Gods by Matt Dinniman (Dungeon Crawler Carl #4)
This series just keeps getting better and better with each book! Carl is one of the best main characters out there and Donut is just amazing too. 5 STARS
Good Spirits by B.K. Borison
This was a lovely holiday read, even if I read it long after the holiday period… I loved this premise and the supernatural element, as well as Harriet’s character journey throughout the story. But I also felt like parts of the story were underdeveloped, like the character of Nolan, and the ending left too many questions for me. I love BK Borison’s books, but while I did enjoy this one overall, it’s not my favorite. 3,5 STARS
Apprentice to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer (Assistant to the Villain #2)
I got through this one quicker than the first one! I’m invested in the characters, the found family aspect is the sweetest, and the slow-burn romance has me on the edge of my seat. A fun, quirky, cozy read. 4 STARS

i-dle (ft skaiwater) – Mono
This song is catchy AND has a great message!
Hilary Duff – Weather for Tennis
Hilary Duff is back and my millennial heart is thriving!
It’s been a good and cozy tv month!

Bridgerton S4
As I’m writing this, I haven’t watched part two yet, but by the time this post goes live, I probably will have. While this isn’t my favorite season (S2 will always have that spot for me), I’m still really enjoying it. I think Sophie is a great new addition to the cast of characters and I am enjoying the romance (even if the whole mistress-part is still irking me, just like it did in the books)
Younger S1 and 2
I LOVE this show. It’s so fun and light and it has Hilary Duff AND books. What’s not to love?
Ghosts S3 and 4
This show is cozy, funny perfection. I love all of the ghosts so much, but Pete’s my favorite 🙂
February is another one of those months where I’m always happy when it’s over. I’m not a fan of winter and dark days, and every year I seem to struggle with it a bit more. But the days are starting to noticeably get longer and we had a few sunny spring-vibe days this week, so the good times are coming!
THINGS THAT MADE ME HAPPY THIS MONTH:
- My husband and I started dating 17 years ago and to celebrate, we went for a nice Italian dinner!
- I’m starting to come home after work while it’s still daylight, and also in the morning the daylight’s there earlier. We also had a few nice days of sunshine so hopefully this means we’ll be starting to see the first flowers soonish.
- My husband got a 3D printer and he’s been experimenting with lots of prints. My favorites so far are organizers for our drawers (they’re so neat and tidy now!) and a 3D print of my new favorite fictional character, Princess Donut!
THINGS I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH:
- Seeing the days become even longer and the weather (hopefully) become warmer and sunnier.
- A date with my BFF whom I haven’t seen in a few months.
- Catching up on all the books I’ve been missing while in my Dungeon Crawler Carl haze (though who am I kidding, I still have 3 books of DCC left to read, so the haze may not be over that soon… but I’m also looking forward to that so win-win I guess)
How was your February? What did you read? What did you listen to and what did you watch? What are you looking forward to in March?

Hope you have a lovely March!
Thanks so much, hope you will too!
If reading DCC makes you happy, then read DCC and be happy!
Haha yes, that is a good mantra indeed 😀
Ghosts is one of the few tv shows I actually watch! I love Pete, but I think Thor is my favorite! Cheers to longer, warmer days ahead!
Ghosts is so fun and Thor is indeed such a great character too! I also love Hetty and Flower… all the ghosts are so great though, there’s not a single character I dislike or don’t care about 🙂
Happy 17 years. I too am very much looking forward to longer and hopefully warmer days. Just the snow melting would be also great. Ghosts is so cute!
Thank you! Yes, hopefully the longer and warmer days are here soon.
