Hi everybody and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday! Today we’re talking about book quotes and I’ve already done quite a few quote posts throughout the years:

For today’s posts I decided to update my latest quote post, ten quotes I loved from recent reads, which was from 2024. So here are ten quotes I loved from recent reads, meaning books I read in 2025 or at the beginning of 2026.
No theme or anything, just ten random quotes that stuck with me for a variety of reasons. Let’s go:

I tried to keep the Dungeon Crawler Carl quotes to a minimum, but know that it was very difficult 🤭

Honestly, ALL the cottage scenes from Heated Rivalry live in my head rent-free 😍

Omg, I love all of these quotes so much! I went rogue today but reading all of these DCC quotes makes me want to make a post of all the DCC quotes I love from throughout the series. I can imagine how hard it would’ve been to limit yourself to three! 🤣 But I love the other quotes you shared a lot too. A lot that punched my feels, lol.
Haha yes for a bit there I was considering doing only DCC book quotes, but I’m only 4 books in so I’ll probably save that post for a later date when I have even more quotes available to me 😀

I have only read Heated Rivalry from your list, but these quotes are great. Also, a note for Carl: cats will drink or try to drink anything that is left unattended. Source: my cat who tries to drink my iced coffee anytime I’m not paying attention. Hahaha.

I haven’t read any of these but I like some of these quotes. The one about smiling, appreciation and the focus on today.. the others were good too.. funny.
