Hi everybody, happy 2026 and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday! It’s time to wrap up 2025 by highlighting the best books we read in the past year.
I once again have 12 favorites instead of 10 because I just couldn’t pick any less than 12, which is a good ‘problem’ to have as a reader, isn’t it? 🤠Let’s go!

Tell Me:
What are your favorite books read in 2025? Do we have any in common?

I’m really very curious about Holly’s book but I’m also not sure if it will be one I’d love. Still I think curiosity wins because I did pick up a copy. 😉 Also, I see lots of positive hype for the Suzanne Collins prequels. Happy 2026!
Not Quite Dead Yet wasn’t my usual type of read, but I did end up enjoying it, so hope you will too! Have a great 2026 too, Rissi!
Not Quite Dead Yet nearly made my list. I’m looking forward to Wooing the Witch Queen this year.
I hope you’ll love Wooing the Witch Queen!
Wooing the Witch Queen was a lot of fun!! And I haven’t read Not Quite Dead Yet, but I hope to do it, sooner or later!!
Yay, glad to hear you enjoyed Wooing the Witch Queen! And I hope you’ll enjoy Not Quite Dead too!
If It Makes You Happy looks cute.
It was definitely a cute read 🙂
So many hockey romances lately!
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
They’re definitely in right now 🙂
I just started a Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping and I am liking it a lot so far!
Yay, I hope you’ll continue to enjoy the read!
I definitely have my eye on Sunrise on the Reaping, both the book and the movie version!
Hope you’ll enjoy them both! I can’t wait for the movie 🙂
Am I the only person who hasn’t read Heated Rivalry?? Great list! Happy reading in 2026, Lindsey!
I hope you’ll enjoy Heated Rivalry if and when you decide to read it! 🙂 Thanks Angela, wishing you a great reading year too!
I think this is the third post I’m reading with A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping on it! It’s definitely getting reserved from the library!
I loved A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping, hope you will too 🙂
We have four favorites in common
Great minds, Sophie 😀
Sunrise is on multiple lists and rightfully so!
Indeed it is! 🙂
Mandanna is a popular choice this week. I enjoyed reading A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping.

First Time Caller and Direbound are priorities for me this year! I see so many books that I really enjoyed on your list, but that’s not surprising. I hope you have an amazing 2026!

I enjoyed First Time Caller as well. Most of the rest of these are on my TBR.
Hope you’ll love the rest of them when you read them! 🙂

Happy 2026! The Hunger Games book made my list too.
Happy 2026! Sunrise on the Reaping was so good, though I fear the movie adaptation might break me.
