WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday: 3 December 2025

WWW Wednesday Header

“WWW” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Taking On A World of Words.

Hi everybody, and welcome to a new WWW Wednesday! For this post, we’ll be answering three questions (the 3 Ws):

  1. What did you recently finish reading?
  2. What are you currently reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m still feeling a little slumpy and while I’ve been enjoying my reads, I’m having trouble picking up my books and anything other than my audiobook re-reads which I’ve been listening to during my commute. So my reading is going a bit more slowly than usual and these WWW Wednesdays have been having quite some overlap for the past 2 months or so. But as long as I’m still enjoying my reads, I don’t mind how long it takes. Here’s what’s currently on my reading roster:

Just Finished Reading
Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas

I recently finished re-reading Tower of Dawn (Throne of Glass #6) by Sarah J. Maas as audiobook.

I was always a fan of Chaol and never really got the hate, so I didn’t mind this interlude, not even upon this re-read. I loved getting to know Yrene and the Southern continent and the Khaganate. 4 STARS

Currently Reading
Assistant To The Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer

I am currently (still) reading Assistant to the Villain (Assistant to the Villain #1) by Hannah Nicole Maehrer as physical book.

I may only be reading like a chapter a week, but I am getting there and I am enjoying the read, even if it’s been taking months 🙂

Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas

I am also currently re-reading Kingdom of Ash (Throne of Glass #7) by Sarah J. Maas as audiobook.

I just started the final book in my Throne of Glass re-read and it is bittersweet as this re-read has been such a comfort to me these last few months and I am not yet ready to say goodbye to these characters again.

Quicksilver by Callie Hart

I am also currently rereading Quicksilver by Callie Hart as ebook.

I’m still doing this re-read in preparation for reading Brimstone and I’m over halfway. I think I like this better the second time around? I feel like I have a better grasp on the characters this time and I’m really enjoying the re-read.

Reading Next

As usual, I’m a huge mood reader so who knows what I’ll be reading next? Until the moment I pick up a book, not even me knows. But here are a few possibilities I’m thinking of (and yes, my mood reader self is already starting to stray from my ‘Ten Before The End’ list – I learned to just go with my mood and leave my planned TBR as possibilities rather than obligations 🙂 )

Tell Me:
What are you currently reading?
Have you read any of these books already?

  3. I’m so ready for the new Sophie Cousens book!

    1. Me too! I was a bit confused about its release date: Goodreads said November, but when I tried to purchase it said it was only available in 2026… But either way, I’m excited about it 🙂
