Books On My Winter 2025-2026 To-Read List

20251216 Books On My Winter 2025-2026 To-Read List

Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Hi everybody, and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday! Today we’re talking about our winter TBR and as usual, my winter TBR consists of a mix of upcoming new releases, (recent-ish) backlist books and re-reads. Here we go!

Upcoming Releases

We Who Will Die by Stacia Stark

Release date: 30 December 2025

A Roman-inspired world, a deadly arena, and vampires? Count me in!

Enchanting the Fae Queen (Queens of Villainy #2) by Stephanie Burgis

Release date: 27 January 2026

Wooing the Witch Queen was one of my unexpected top faves of 2026. If this is half as fun and cozy and swoony, I’ll be a fan!

Dawn of the North (The Ashen #3) by Demi Winters

Release date: 3 February 2026

I can’t wait to return to this world! Although I may need a re-read of the first two books.

A Practical Guide to Dating a Demon by Hannah Reynolds

Release date: 3 February 2026

A cozy YA romantasy about an accidental bethrothal to a demon sounds right up my alley.

And Now, Back To You (Heartstrings #2) by B.K. Borison

Release date: 24 February 2026

I’ll always be looking forward to reading B.K. Borison!

Recent Releases I Still Need To Read

Rose in Chains by Julie Soto

Release date: 3 July 2025

A dark fantasy set in a magical world, with enemies-to-lovers and a morally grey love interest? I’m in!

Good Spirits by B.K. Borison

Release date: 7 October 2025

A new holiday romance book series by B.K. Borison? With a slight paranormal twist to it? YES PLEASE!

Mate (Bride #2) by Ali Hazelwood

Release date: 7 October 2025

Honestly, I wasn’t the biggest fan of Bride. But I’m still looking forward to Mate!

The Songbird & the Heart of Stone and The Fallen & the Kiss of Dusk by Carissa Broadbent

Release date: 19 November 2024 and 5 August 2025

I loved the first two books in this series and while I’ve been looking forward to books 3 and 4, I still haven’t started them yet. Maybe this winter?

Re-Reads

I love a good re-read! This year, I’ve been pretty good at re-reading and I hope to continue this in the next year. With the new Ashen book releasing, I may need a refresher of book 1, The Road of Bones and book 2, Kingdom of Claw. With the People We Meet On Vacation adaptation, I may want to re-read the book before watching the movie. While I’m in an Emily Henry re-read vibe, I may want to re-read my fave, Funny Story. And I always love a good re-read of my all-time fave in winter, Red Winter!

Tell Me:
What’s on your winter TBR? Do you go for mostly new releases, backlist books, or re-reads?

  1. I’m trying to decide if I want to read People We Meet on Vacation or not! I know I’ll watch the movie and I prefer readding the book first, but my hesitation comes from not loving Beach Read. Still… I may give another Henry novel a chance; they always look like books I’d love. Happy winter TBR-ing! 🙂

    1. I’m sorry you didn’t love Beach Read and I hope you’ll have better luck with Emily Henry’s other books, or the movie adaptation 🙂

  2. I have Good Spirits on my TBR too, though I haven’t read any of their books before.

    1. Then I hope Good Spirits will be the book to start your B.K. Borison journey 🙂
