Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl
Hi everybody and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!
I don’t know about you, but when it comes to fall (and spooky season), I’m craving darker, atmospheric reads. Not horror (because I’m a scaredy cat) but something a little darker with an atmosphere that is thick and tangible.
While I haven’t yet read any of the 10 books below, they feel like they’ll hit the mark with it comes to darker atmospheres, and I hope to read them soon!

The Knight and the Moth by Rachel Gillig
Katabasis by R.F. Kuang
Wild Reverence by Rebecca Ross
Enigma by RuNyx
A Sea of Unspoken Things by Adrienne Young
The Nature of Witches by Rachel Griffin
Alchemised by SenLinYu
A Study in Drowning by Ava Reid
The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett
Nocticadia by Keri Lake

Tell Me:
Did you read any of these? If yes, would you recommend them?

These all certainly look dark! I think I saw quite a bit about The Nature of Witches back in the day. That cover art is so familiar. π
Yes, I think The Nature of Witches has been quite popular, so I’m curious to try it myself π
All very spooky, I would try The Nature Of Witches.

The Tainted Cup is amazing and I would highly recommend prioritising that one! π€ Katabasis is also great but it’s a little heavy at times. I hope you enjoy whichever ones you get to! Happy reading π
I hope to get to The Tainted Cup soon, I’ve only heard rave reviews about that one! I also want to read Katabasis, but if it’s a little heavy I need to choose my timing to read it wisely π
