“WWW” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Taking On A World of Words.
Hi everybody, and welcome to a new WWW Wednesday! For this post, we’ll be answering three questions (the 3 Ws):
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?

I just finished reading Hopeless by Elsie Silver (Chestnut Springs #5) as ebook.
Unfortunately, the Chestnut Springs installment I was most looking forward to turned out to be one of my least favorites… I was really looking forward to Beau’s story as I loved his character and I had high hopes for this age gap / fake dating story. But I just couldn’t connect to the character of Bailey at all – she’s 22 but she sounded so childish and naive and I felt like there was no buildup at all to her relationship with Beau.

I am currently (still) reading Fearless (The Powerless trilogy #3) by Lauren Roberts as audiobook.
This is taking a bit longer to finish, but only because I mostly listen to audiobooks during my commute and I just had 2 weeks off so I didn’t listen much…
I’m a little over halfway and I’m enjoying it so far, though I am also kind of missing book 2 when there was more romance and character development than fantasy. Now the fantasy’s back full-force, and I want more romance and character development.

I am currently reading Direbound by Sable Sorensen as ebook.
I got sucked in by the rave reviews for this debut romantasy about a world where the King’s elite warriors go through the Bonding Trials to be able to bond with one of the massive, vicious direwolves. I’m only a few chapters in but I’m already hooked so I have high hopes for this one!

As usual, I’m a huge mood reader so who knows what I’ll be reading next? Until the moment I pick up a book, not even me knows. But here are a few possibilities I’m thinking of:

Tell Me:
What are you currently reading?
Have you read any of these books already?

Now I want to read Dire Bounds! And I read Great Big Beautiful Life but was disappointed! I hope you will love it!
I’m almost done with Direbound and I AM OBSESSED!!
I sometimes read an audiobook and a paperback or ebook at the same time. It’s the only way I can read multiple fiction books at the same time. I’m not familiar with any of these books. Enjoy the rest of your week!
Me too, it is a great way to get some more reading time in for me as not every format fits every occasion 🙂
Direbound is a new title to me but it sounds great and the cover is really beautiful!!
I’m almost done with Direbound and I am OBSESSED! Definitely a favorite of the year so far!
I’ve been seeing the Emily Henry book everywhere lately!
Me too, though I haven’t read it yet so I’m hoping that I’ll be able to avoid spoilers until I have 🙂
