Hi everybody and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday! Today is a short and sweet topic as we’re focusing on book titles that contain a specific word – I went with “dark” – let’s go!

Tell Me:
Have you read and loved any of these as well?

I owned a couple of those books from Mary once upon a time. I didn’t ever read them though. They sounded intersting but I think I just let them sit too long and interest went away!
I read the first book in that trilogy and remember liking it, but then I never continued and my interest indeed went away too 🙂
Snap! I also went with the word “dark”. Love that our books are quite different though. Here’s my TTT: https://damppebbles.com/2025/04/29/toptentuesday-29th-april-2025/
Oh nice! And how great that we still have different books 🙂
It’s a popular word in titles from the looks of it!
It definitely was easy to put this list together 🙂
Ooh, good word choice!
It’s definitely a popular word for book titles 🙂
I notice that all but one of your DARK titled books have dark covers, too. Fun list.
Oh indeed, nice catch!
Fantastic choice of word! I loved Dark Tempest, Chase the Dark, Queen of Air and Darkness, Dark Arts and a Daiquiri!
All definite faves of mine too 😀
I really need to read A Curse so Dark and Lonely! My TTT
I’ve read A Curse so Dark and Lonely and really enjoyed it, but I still need to continue the rest of the series though.
The Bargainer series is so good. I’ve seen a few ‘Dark’ posts and they all have different books!! Very cool
Dark definitely seems to be a popular word choice for book titles! 😀
We all read so many dark books. ha ha 😀
I loved Queen of Darkness Lindsey!
I have read most of the bottom half of your list 🙂 I started rereading ADSOM last year, but never continued LOL.

I did a re-read of ADSOM last year too! I did finish in preparation for the latest release – hope you’ll enjoy if you do decide to pick it up again 🙂
I think with all the suspense I read, I could easily do a post with “dark.” I might need to try it one day, love the topic!
Suspense is definitely a great genre for “dark” titles!
The Darkest Minds has a cool cover.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
It really does!
I loved A Darker Shade of Magic – I’m dying to return to that world.
I hope you’ll also love the rest of the series!
Oh so many familiar. The Darkest Minds, A Darker Shade of Magic, Queen of Air and Darkness, A Curse So Dark and Lonely..
So many nostalgic favorites!
Love your choices. These all look very intriguing. Have a good day!
Thank you!
The covers certainly match the theme!
Haha they really do 😀
I’ve read the V.E. Schwab book but for some reason didn’t read the rest of the series. I need to reread!
