Hi everybody, and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday! How are we the last day of 2024 already? Not sure how that happened… But here we are and it’s that time again to highlight the best books read in 2024.
I have twelve favorites this year as I just couldn’t whittle it down to 10. Which only means good things for my reading, right?

I loved Divine Rivals, Funny Story and Somewhere Beyond the Sea!
They were all so good, glad we have them in common!

Christina Lauren made my list, too, although it was a different book! I read two of their books this year and loved them both.
Christina Lauren is definitely a staple in all my end of year lists!
Funny Story is on my list too. I really enjoyed Divine Rivals too this year. I’ve gone off YA fantasy lately but the war setting was so well done.
Glad to hear we have Funny Story in common! I don’t read that much YA anymore either, but Divine Rivals was indeed so well done!
Whittling things down was hard this week for sure!

I agree, I was not expecting the year to come to a close so quickly. I think a year end best reads calls for 12 books.

I read my first Emily Henry this year. It was Happy Place and I liked it. Hope to read more in the new year.

I haven’t read any of these, but remember seeing Emily’s making the rounds when it released. It looks colorful and fun. Same goes for Christina Lauren’s and the other books in that novella series. 🙂
Emily and Christina Lauren are definitely my auto-buy authors, I always love their books!
I really really enjoyed Butcher and Blackbird, though I’m not surprised. Dark comedies with some smut is my favorite thing lmao. Hope you have a great year!
