Books with Skulls on the Cover

20241105 Books with Skulls on the Cover

Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Hi everybody and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday! Today’s topic is covers with something on the cover and I kind of chose to extend Halloween with my topic just a bit, because I went with skulls (and because I’m not ready to say goodbye to Halloween again).

My most recent read (Phantasma, which was AMAZING) had a cover with a skull so my mind was still kind of there and then I realized a few previous reads also had skulls on the cover and well, all of a sudden I had this list ready so I just went along with it πŸ™‚

Have you read any of these? Any favorites?

  1. It’s fun you extended spooky season with your list! I felt like that earlier this week too. I sent out my email “update” and told everyone I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to fall things and fully embrace Christmas. πŸ™‚

    1. Yes I totally get that! It feels like Halloween season just started… I just need to extend it a little bit πŸ™‚

  2. Kingdom of the Wicked was the first book to come to mind as well LOL

    1. It’s definitely a well-known cover haha πŸ™‚

  3. Skulls on covers is one of those themes you could find unending books of. There are so many!

    1. So true, it was so easy to find 10 books with a skull for this post!

  4. I’m not always a skull girlie but these covers are gorg 😍 Great picks!

  5. Skulls can be kind of creepy, but these are beautiful!

    1. So true!

  6. I was trying to think if I have read any books with skulls on them. If I have they would have been from an archeological dig or something of that nature and not as pretty, LOL.

    1. Haha yes I can definitely imagine that non-fictional books with skulls will probably not be as pretty as fantasy books with skulls πŸ˜€

  7. Oh, this is a fun one! I like seeing skulls on covers. They’re spooky without being gory.

    Thanks for stopping by earlier.

  8. Skulls will never not be cool! I love covers with skulls on them and I’d definitely read some of these just because of their covers.

  14. When I was a kid, my mom took me and a bunch of kids to the drive-in and we saw a movie called Phantasma. It’s the last scary movie I ever watched.

    1. Oh I didn’t know it was a scary movie too!
