Top Ten Tuesday

Twelve Random Books From My Shelves (As Picked By My Husband)

20230502 Random Books From My Shelves

Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Hi everybody and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday! Today is (once again) a short and sweet post as we’re just randomly picking a few books from our shelves to highlight! I recruited my husband to randomly choose a few books, since I know too well what my shelves look like so it wouldn’t be super random that way. And I like what came out! Some old, some new, a few favorites I rave about a lot and a few books I love but haven’t talked about in a while, so overall a good mix 🙂

From my physical shelf

Quite the selection! Hell Bent is my favorite read of 2023 so far. Dark Tempest is the second book in my all-time favorite series by my all-time favorite author. Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda is a YA classic that I can easily re-read constantly. And Eragon is an old favorite that I should really re-read some time soon.

From my ebook shelf

A fun and diverse mix! The Longing of Lone Wolves is the first book in a fantasy romance series that I enjoyed, but still need to continue with the rest of the series. Similar story with Payback’s a Witch, enjoyed it but need to read the rest of the series. The One and Only Crystal Druid is again a highly loved book by a highly loved author (only fitting that Annette Marie is in this post twice). And Big Little Lies is an old favorite!

From my audiobook shelf

Again, all favorites here! Legend & Lattes is a cozy fantasy I read this year and loved. The Wall of Winnipeg and Me is a contemporary romance by slow-burn queen Mariana Zapata. Under the Whispering Door is another all-time favorite by a favorite author. And The Worst Best Man was such a fun enemies-to-lovers romance that I really enjoyed.
