20230314 Spring 2023 Releases

Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Hi everybody, and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday! Today we’re talking about the books on our spring 2023 to-read list and since springtime is always FULL of shiny new releases, I decided to focus on new releases specifically for this list. So here are not ten, but twelve 2023 spring releases on my TBR:

The Do-Over by Suzanne Park

Release date: 4 April 2023

The Do-Over is a fun rom-com about a young Korean-American woman having to return to college after discovering sheโ€™s a few credits shy of completing her degreeโ€”only to find one of her TAs is her old college boyfriend. Sounds fun!

Spell Bound by F.T. Lukens

Release date: 4 April 2023

I have loved both of F.T. Lukens previous books – they are the perfect fun, light fantasy reads and this one seems equally great already.

Stolen Sorcery & Other Misadventures by Annette Marie and Rob Jacobsen

Release date: 7 April 2023

Kit’s next adventure is almost here and I am so excited because I missed this character so much.

The Nanny by Lana Ferguson

Release date: 11 April 2023

โ€œA woman discovers the father of the child she is nannying may be her biggest (Only)Fanโ€ Umm, yes please!

Between Us by Mhairi McFarlane

Release date: 13 April 2023

It’s a new Mhairi McFarlane! I’ve loved everything I’ve read by her before so of course I’m looking forward to her new release.

In the Lives of Puppets by TJ Klune

Release date: 25 April 2023

In the words of TJ Klune himself, In The Lives of Puppets is โ€œA queer retelling of Carlo Collodiโ€™s The Adventures of Pinocchio starring an inventor named Victor, a mysterious android called Hap (Hysterically Angry Puppet), an anxiety-riddled Roomba vacuum named Rambo, and a sociopathic nursing machine, the Registered Automaton To Care, Heal, Educate and Drill (Nurse Ratched, for short).โ€ I mean, whatโ€™s not to love? He had me at โ€œanxiety-riddled Roomba vacuum named Ramboโ€œโ€ฆ

Happy Place by Emily Henry

Release date: 25 April 2023

A friendcation and a second-chance romance? By Emily Henry? Yes please!

Meet Me at the Lake by Carley Fortune

Release date: 2 May 2023

Every Summer After was one of my favorite books of 2023, so of course Iโ€™m super excited to read a new novel by Carley Fortune! Iโ€™m also getting some Before Sunrise/Before Sunset vibes from the summary, and thatโ€™s only further endorsement in my eyes, as I love those movies.

The True Love Experiment by Christina Lauren

Release date: 16 May 2023

FIZZY IS GETTING HER OWN BOOK!!!

Fake Dates and Mooncakes by Sher Lee

Release date: 16 May 2023

Heartstopper meets Crazy Rich Asians? Fake dating? AND that cover? Of course Iโ€™m looking forward to reading this one!

Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood

Release date: 13 June 2023

Ali Hazelwood is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors, so of course I’m looking forward to her next release!

Business or Pleasure by Rachel Lynn Solomon

Release date: 20 June 2023

โ€œA ghostwriter and a struggling actor help each other on the page and in the bedroom in this steamy romantic comedy from the New York Times bestselling author of The Ex Talk.โ€
