10 Cozy Fantasy Romance Books

20221011 Cozy Fantasy Romance Books

Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Today’s topic normally should have been “Books I read on vacation”, but I wasn’t feeling that one. So I’m going rogue today and wanted to focus instead on a genre I just recently realized that I LOVE, and that’s cozy fantasy. Basically, cozy fantasy is fantasy but with lower stakes. It’s light-hearted and fun. They are comforting reads.

All of the below books have the cozy fantasy vibe to me. And they also have one more element, which I usually also need in my books, and that’s a romance aspect. Some may have a bit more romance than others, but it’s always there.

So let’s get into it!

The Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston (* more romance than fantasy, but there are ghosts so a paranormal aspect…) | The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna | The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy by Megan Bannen | The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune | So This Is Ever After by F.T. Lukens | Legends and Lattes by Travis Baldree | Under the Whispering Door by T.J. Klune | The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling | Payback’s a Witch by Lana Harper | Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson
