Hi everyone, and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday post! Today’s I’m talking about the books I love so much that I have copies on more than one format (paper / e-book / audiobook). You see, I usually read across all 3 formats. And sometimes I have read a book in one format, but for some reason I also want it in another format. For example, I read a book as ebook or audiobook but I LOVED the book so much I needed a physical copy for my shelves. Or what’s also possible is that I have read a book on paperback, but would love to do a re-read on audio. And then sometimes, I have a little trouble reading a book in paperback (sometimes I just have difficulty focusing on a paperback, this happens often in winter when it gets dark early…) and then I get a copy on audio to better absorb the story. Whatever the reason, here are 10 books that I own in more than one format:
Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston – originally read this one on ebook, but loved it so much I wanted a paperback copy for my shelves, and was gifted one last year!
One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston – originally read this one on audiobook, but was gifted a physical copy last year as well.
Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo – I originally purchased the paperback but was having trouble reading books in paperback at the time and I really wanted to read it so I purchased the audiobook, which were easier for me to read, and adored it!
The Hating Game by Sally Thorne – I originally read this as an ebook when it was first released, but was craving a re-read last year and purchased the audiobook for that.
The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune – I originally listened to this on audio, but was so enamored by the story I splurged on a hardback copy immediately after finishing.
Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson – Same story as Cerulean, I originally listed to this on audio but fell so head over heels in love with the story that I gifted myself with a hardcover as well.
King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo – I originally purchased the hardcover (because how gorgeous is that cover and also Leigh Bardugo), but I was struggling to read a physical copy at the time so a few weeks later I also purchased the audio and listened to it.
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell – I originally fell in love with this story on paperback, but last year I wanted to do a re-read AND read the sequels, which I did on audio.
The Red Winter trilogy by Annette Marie – I originally read this on ebook, fell in love with the story and the beautiful visuals and purchased the entire trilogy for my shelves.
The Guild Codex series by Annette Marie – I’m lucky enough to be on Annette Marie’s ARC team now, so I got most of these on ebook at first, but I love this series so much I still purchase copies for my shelves afterwards.
