My Most Anticipated Releases for the Second Half of 2022

20220705 Most Anticipated Releases

Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Hi everybody, and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!

HOW ARE WE JULY ALREADY? I can’t quite believe it. But it’s true and that means it’s time to once more look forward to the second half of the year and all the amazing releases I’m looking forward to. So let’s dive right in:

Husband Material (Boyfriend Material #2) by Alexis Hall

Release date: August 2nd 2022

UM HELLO this is my most anticipated release OF THE YEAR!

Fence, Vol 5: Rise by C.S. Pacat

Release date: August 16th 2022

I love this little comic series about fencing and slow-burn romance so much!

The American Roommate Experiment (Spanish Love Deception #2) by Elena Armas

Release date: August 18th 2022

I loved The Spanish Love Deception, so I’m super excited for Rosie’s story. Plus, forced proximity is always a nice trope!

Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood

Release date: August 23rd 2022

I have adored Ali Hazelwood’s first novel, The Love Hypothesis, as well as her novellas, so OF COURSE I’m super excited for her next release! Plus, it has enemies-to-lovers AND more women in science, so I’m in!

The Unbreakable Bladesong Druid (The Guild Codex: Unveiled #4) by Annette Marie

Release date: September 9th 2022

IT’S THE FINALE TO SABER AND ZAK’S STORY AND I AM NOT OKAY.

The First To Die At The End by Adam Silvera

Release date: October 4th 2022

I cried while reading They Both Die At The End. I can’t imagine going through that again. But I am, because there’s a prequel coming out and I am a sucker.

A Cosmic Kind of Love by Samantha Young

Release date: October 18th 2022

I’m a sucker for a good penpal romance, but add in an astronaut? Whole new level, yes!

Paris Daillencourt is About to Crumble (Winner Bakes All #2) by Alexis Hall

Release date: October 18th 2022

TWO ALEXIS HALL RELEASES IN ONE LIST? Yes, and I am so ready for more reality tv baking competition and an insecure protagonist that I already want to hug.

Ocean’s Echo by Everina Maxwell

Release date: November 1st 2022

I loved Everina Maxwell’s Winter’s Orbit so of course I am excited to read her next standalone sci-fi romance which takes place in the same universe as Winter’s Orbit. But also, this has fake dating, except it’s fake soulbonding, and that alone has me convinced.

A Light in the Flame (Flesh and Fire #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Release date: November 15th 2022

Honestly, these series have me SUPER confused and I have no idea what’s even going on most of the time. But the romance is brilliant so I’ll just keep reading.

Well Traveled (Well Met #4) by Jen DeLuca

Release date: December 6th 2022

I will never have enough of this little renaissance faire series.

Never Ever Getting Back Together by Sophie Gonzales

Release date: December 6th 2022

“A girl enters a reality dating competition to get revenge on her cheating, royal-adjacent ex-boyfriend, and ends up falling for another girl on the show—in fact, the girl he cheated on her with.” YES, PLEASE!
