Hi everybody, and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!

Also, HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Halloween’s by far my favorite day of the year (which doesn’t even have anything to do with that small fact that it’s also my birthday…) and even though I’m working today, I’m planning on spending a cozy Halloween night in front of my tv with lots of candy and a Stranger Things binge-watch session. (#heaven).

But of course I also love the Halloween related blog topics during the Halloween season (yes, it’s a season). Today’s topic is a Halloween freebie and I decided to bring back one of my old faves: supernatural creatures, or creatures of the night! (inspired by the Creatures of the Night book tag by Katytastic)

To be fair, I’m a bit behind on books featuring supernatural creatures lately, but just making this list has got me in the mood again. So please, give me all your recommendations for great books featuring some of those creatures of the night!

In the meantime, here are some of mine:

Hi everybody, and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!

Today is all about those fictional crushes! You know, those characters that you love and adore and get under your skin so much you wish they were real? Exactly, who I’m talking about here! Now, I did a top ten fictional crushes not too long ago, so for this topic, I decided to veer off a bit and explore some of my TV crushes in particular.

The TV crushes I mentioned in my previous Top Ten Tuesday, Pacey Witter (Dawson’s Creek) and Bellamy Blake (The 100), are of course still very high on my fictional tv crush list, but to switch it up a bit, I present to you: ten MORE fictional tv crushes! (Also, yes, there are plenty more where they came from. I love a lot of fictional characters, okay?)

January 2017: The Month Of The DAReadathon, Contemporary Faves, Ed Sheeran, Ambitions & A Whole Lot Of Anime {Monthly Wrap Up}

January 2017

Hi and welcome to my first wrap up of 2017!

January has been pretty busy reading and blogging wise, so I hope you’re ready for a looong post 🙂 I have read 12 books, 3 of which were re-reads and I think that’s been one of my best reading months EVER, so yay for me! I entered my first readathon of the year and actually did okay. I’ve slowly but surely been discovering some new music. AND I’ve fallen in love with some new tv and movies. So let’s get into it!

TV Review: Shadowhunters Premiere

Shadowhunters

This week was the long-awaited premiere of the Shadowhunters TV-Show premiere. And it was long-awaited especially for fans of the The Mortal Instruments book series by Cassandra Clare on which the show is based. Of course, book fans already got a movie based on the books as well, but since that will not be continued I think all fans are just relieved that the story gets another chance in TV format.  (which I think is a better format for this series than a movie anyway)

Honestly, I did not have very high expectations for the show, though I did have high hopes. And the premiere did exceed my expectations quite a bit. Though it was a bit cringe-worthy at times, I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next episodes. There are obviously some changes that were made from the original books, but I actually think these are all for the best and they make me eager to see where the show will go.

Overall rating for the premiere episode: 3,5 stars – I liked it.

Some more (spoilery) thoughts:
