The 2020 Books I Predict Will Be 5-Star Reads {Top Ten Tuesday}

20200204 5-Star Predictions

Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Hi everybody, and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!

Today’s all about the 2020 books we predict that’ll be 5-star reads. And at first I was really excited about this, because I’m excited about a lot of books but then… it turned out it’s no so easy to predict which books will be 5-star reads and which won’t. I may love a book, but the difference between a 4-star or 4,5-star rating and a 5-star rating is hugely emotional for me and often not only has to do with the book itself, but the emotions I felt while reading it, how invested in the characters I am, how big my book hangover is… Basically, IT’S HARD.

But I tried! So while this list is a little shorter than usual, I think most of these will become 5-star reads for sure. Let’s check in again at the end of the year čśë

The Latest Books I Added To My TBR (Featuring A Fantasy, A Graphic Novel, A Thriller and Loads of Rom-Coms) {Top Ten Tuesday}

Latest books added to my TBR 2

Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Hi everybody, and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!

Today’s all about the latest additions to my bookshelf and I decided to interpret this as my ‘to-be-read’ bookshelf because well, it’s always growing so why not share parts of it from time to time? Maybe talking about the books I added to my TBR will help me rethink them and decide not to TBR some books after all… Or maybe not, since that didn’t happen at all, but oh well. Too many books to read is a good problem to have, right? Right?

So here are the latest books I added to my TBR and I am equally excited about each and every one of them!

December 2018: The Month I Gave It My All To Reach My 2018 Reading Goal (& Failed Everything Else Woops) {Monthly Wrap Up}

December 2018

Hi everybody, and welcome to my December wrap up!

The last month of 2018 and pfew, it was quite a mixed month. On the one hand, it was once again proven that I am a very goal-driven person as I gave it my all to reach my Goodreads goal of 60 books read in 2018 and read the most I’ve ever read in one month. On the other hand, things got so busy that other than work, house renovations, reading and sleeping, I had very little time for anything else, which means I’ve been a TERRIBLE blogger. I’m so sorry for being MIA everybody! I only hope it’ll get better soon, but know that I haven’t forgetten you all and will definitely blog hop and comment on all your wonderful posts the moment I get the chance!

For now┬á though, here’s my December wrap up!

June 2018: The Month of Geeky Cinderellas, Boys In Love & SO MUCH MUSIC {Monthly Wrap Up}

June 2018

Hi everybody, and welcome to my June wrap up!

June was a divided month for me. During the first half of the month I read a lot and I LOVED every book I read so much I even read one of them twice. During the second half of the month my reading kind of stopped (other than a few comics), but I watched some great tv and movies and listened to a lot of music. So yeah, divided but overall pretty great. Here’s what I’ve been up to:

February 2018: The Month Of Cruel Fae, Ace Heroines & Oscar Nominees {Monthly Wrap Up}

February 2018

Hi everybody, and welcome to my February wrap up!

Is it just me, or did February just fly by? I mean, January dragged on FOREVER and then there was February which was over before I knew it. Not that I’m complaining, because I have had it with winter so┬áthe sooner we get to be April-May, the happier I’ll be čÖé

Either way, I did read some pretty good books this month, discovered some new addictive music and saw some absolutely gorgeous movies, so I guess that despite the cold, February was pretty great.┬áHere’s what I’ve been up to this month!

January 2018: The Month Of Incubi, Monsters, Grim Reapers and The End of the FXXXing World {Monthly Wrap Up}

January 2018

Hi guys, and welcome to my January wrap up!

My reading in January has been pretty average, quantitywise. I read 5 books, among which a comic, which is not a lot but also way better than some of last years’ slump months so I’m pretty happy with it. Qualitywise, some of those books have become all-time favorites┬áwhich is definitely a bonus. Also, I watched some AMAZING tv this month and spent quite some time enjoying those worlds so overall, I’m pretty content about the stories I chose to start my year with.

Here’s what I’ve been up to in January!
