Hi everybody! As you may have already understood from the title, this little blog is turning three years old today! Hooray!
Hi everybody, and welcome to my December wrap up!
The last month of 2018 and pfew, it was quite a mixed month. On the one hand, it was once again proven that I am a very goal-driven person as I gave it my all to reach my Goodreads goal of 60 books read in 2018 and read the most I’ve ever read in one month. On the other hand, things got so busy that other than work, house renovations, reading and sleeping, I had very little time for anything else, which means I’ve been a TERRIBLE blogger. I’m so sorry for being MIA everybody! I only hope it’ll get better soon, but know that I haven’t forgetten you all and will definitely blog hop and comment on all your wonderful posts the moment I get the chance!
For now though, here’s my December wrap up!
Hi everybody, and welcome to my November wrap up!
November was actually quite a great month for me. Personally, some really exciting things happened (see below) and books, music, tv and movie-wise I had some great discoveries! So definitely a pretty solid month 🙂 Here’s what I’ve been up to!
Hi everybody, and welcome to my October wrap up!
AND ALSO, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
Given my recent personal developments, I’ve still been a little M.I.A. this month, so again apologies to all my blogger friends! I’m hoping to catch up with all your blogs very, VERY soon. In the meantime, I’m hoping you’ll all have an amazing Halloween! Let me know how you’ll be spending today!
On the reading front not a whole lot of actual reading happened either, but there were some amazing releases this month and some of those I already started on, so that’s a definite plus. Musically, I continued my trend of listening to the same band over and over again and tv-wise… nothing at all happened.
So let’s just get into what I did do during the magical month of October!
Hi everybody, and welcome to my September wrap up!
September has been pretty hectic, which is why I barely read anything. I’ve been reading Mirage for like 3 weeks already, I just keep falling asleep after 2 pages (which has absolutely nothing to do with the book and everything to do with my exhaustion.)
We got the keys to our house, which means renovations have started. We’re doing quite a lot ourselves, so it is a LOT of work and though we were hoping to be finished and able to move in by December, it’s looking more like it’ll be February… or later still. Which sucks. Also, my mom has been having some health issues and is currently hospitalized (she should hopefully be able to go home end of the week though), so I’ve been running from our current home to our future home to the hospital and back constantly and I am exhausted.
I hope things settle back into a routine soon, but in the meantime please be patient with me while blogposts are sporadic and comment replies are SLOW.
Anyway, here’s my September wrap up!

As you may or may not know from my monthly wrap ups, after a very long search, my husband and I have bought a house. It took a few monts for the papers to get finalized, but this week we finally got the keys and the house is ours!
Before we can move in however, we do still have quite some renovations to do. And I’m talking big renovations – we need a new kitchen, new bathroom, new floors, new heating and new pipes among other things. (I’m also hoping to get my own little reading nook in, so you can imagine I’m excited about that!) So I’ll probably be extremely busy in the next few weeks or probably even months.
What does this mean for the blog? Well, for starters, I REALLY don’t want to take a hiatus. This blog and this community is kind of like my happy place and I don’t want to stay away from my happy place for too long. But I also have to be honest with myself – I have only few posts already scheduled and I already am behind on commenting and bloghopping (so sorry if I haven’t been by your blog in a while, I’m hoping to catch up soon). And since I will be occupied with the house and probably won’t have a ton of time, I will definitely need to cut down on my blogging time.
I promise I’ll do my best to still get some posts up and do some bloghopping, but please know that for the next few weeks, posts may be sporadic and comment replies may take a while.
Talk to you all soon!
Hi everybody, and welcome to my August wrap up!
August has been good – the weather has cooled off and the month has seemed to fly by faster because of it. I did manage to read a few good books, but highlights this month definitely happened on the music and movie front (Gee, what could it be? This is not predictable AT ALL…) Oh, and I got accepted for my first blog tour for one of my favorite authors so I’m pretty pleased overall <3
Hi everybody, and welcome to my July wrap up!
Honesly, my July felt like it lasted foreeever. Why that is, I’m not sure, because I did feel like I did a lot of things, but time just didn’t seem to go by at all. Perhaps it has something to do with the weather, since we’ve been in a heatwave pretty much all month and the high temperatures are making everything feel slow. Though I didn’t read that much, I did get to read 2 new books and re-read 2 old favorites, so I’m happy about that. I also watched quite some TV and listened to some new music. So let’s just dive in: here’s what I did in July!
Hi everybody, and welcome to my March wrap up!
March was busy busy for me, which means there was not a lot of rime for fun, but I did get to read some amazing books, saw some great TV AND got to listen to a ton of amazing songs, so overall March wasn’t too bad. My blogging suffered a bit though, so for that I apologize and hope I’ll be back with more posts, comments and bloghopping next month! Until then, here’s what I did in March:
Hi guys, and welcome to my January wrap up!
My reading in January has been pretty average, quantitywise. I read 5 books, among which a comic, which is not a lot but also way better than some of last years’ slump months so I’m pretty happy with it. Qualitywise, some of those books have become all-time favorites which is definitely a bonus. Also, I watched some AMAZING tv this month and spent quite some time enjoying those worlds so overall, I’m pretty content about the stories I chose to start my year with.
Here’s what I’ve been up to in January!
