October 2017: The Month I Cried A Whole Month Over One Book & Fell In Love With Jessica Jones {Monthly Wrap Up}

October 2017

Hi guys, and welcome to my October wrap up!

Sadly, my reading slump did not improve in October. But I still got to read 2 books, so it’s not all that bad. Hopefully November will be a bit better. I’m not participating in any readathons at the moment and I have promised myself to only read what I want to be reading. I’m putting aside any thoughts about my TBR  and will just focus on some Annette Marie books that I’m hoping will break my slump. But if I want to binge-watch Netflix instead of reading, I will be doing that. (I still need to watch the second season of Stranger Things!). Basically, I’m gonna try not putting any pressure on myself whatsoever and hope that’ll work.

But in the meantime, here’s what I did in October!

September 2017: The Month The Reading Slump Dragged On {Monthly Wrap Up}

September 2017

Hi guys, and welcome to my September wrap up!

Well, the good news is that I managed to more or less get back on track with posting regularly in September. HUZZAH! The bad news is that my reading slump is still on and off. I mean, I WANT to read. I took 7 books with me on my 6-day holiday and I was super excited to read each and every single one. But I read just one. ONE. Plus one more during the rest of the month, which makes for a total of 2 books read this month. And boy, do I feel guilty. Am I still allowed to even call myself a book blogger here? (#dramaqueen)

Anyway, I am so looking forward to October (also known as Halloween season), so here’s hoping the October magic will work on me and turn me into a lean, mean reading machine once more. But first, let’s wrap up September!

July 2017: The Month Of My First Hiatus (But Now I’m Back! Well, Mostly…) {Monthly Wrap Up}

July 2017

Hi guys, and welcome to my July wrap up!

As you may recall, I announced my first-ever semi-hiatus at the beginning of July. It was a tough decision, but I had been in a slump for too long already and I needed a little break and time to figure out a new blogging & life balance. And though I felt SUPER guilty about it, I’m happy I did it. I may not be 100% back yet, but I have a new-found drive to read and blog again. So please be patient with me over the next few weeks as I slowly but surely get back to blogging! In the meantime, let’s get into what I did during this hiatus:

April 2017: The Month I Finally Read Illuminae, Watched A Ton Of Kdrama And Fell In Love With BIGBANG & BTS {Monthly Wrap Up}

April 2017

Hi and welcome to my April wrap up!

April has been a little weird and off in a few ways…

Unfortunately my reading slump, which started in March, continued in April and as such, I only read 3 books. On the bright side, two of those books were five-star reads… I’m hoping they will have helped shake off this slump and I’m back on track for May.

My blogging slump has also continued so I am sorry for the reduced number of posts and huge delays in commenting and job hopping. On the bright side, I did get a few posts up I loved working on, like my top ten fandoms or the pros and cons of telling people about your blog.

So without further ado, let’s get into my April!

January 2017: The Month Of The DAReadathon, Contemporary Faves, Ed Sheeran, Ambitions & A Whole Lot Of Anime {Monthly Wrap Up}

January 2017

Hi and welcome to my first wrap up of 2017!

January has been pretty busy reading and blogging wise, so I hope you’re ready for a looong post 🙂 I have read 12 books, 3 of which were re-reads and I think that’s been one of my best reading months EVER, so yay for me! I entered my first readathon of the year and actually did okay. I’ve slowly but surely been discovering some new music. AND I’ve fallen in love with some new tv and movies. So let’s get into it!

Welcome!

Hi and welcome to my first ever blog post!

If not yet clear from the rest of this site, I like books. And talking about books. So this blog will be mostly me just talking about, well, books.

So please bear with me as I start posting my thoughts on books I read and any other topics even remotely related 🙂
