Hi everybody! As you may have already understood from the title, this little blog is turning two years old today! Hooray!
Hi everybody! Today is the last Something Different Sunday of the year, and of course also the last day of the year. So I though this would be the perfect time to get a little more personal and take a look back at my 2017, but also take a look ahead at the year of 2018. Here we go!
Hi guys, and welcome to my December wrap up!
I have read 7 books this month. SEVEN BOOKS. Ok, two of them where short comics that I read in 10 minutes… BUT I think it’s safe to say that I can leave my awful reading slump in 2017. I hope so anyway 🙂
So here’s what I’ve been up to in December!
Hi guys, and welcome to my November wrap up!
Even if I may have only read three books this month, I think I can finally say that I have beaten my reading slump. Or to be more correct, Annette Marie has beaten my reading slump, because all three books are part of her Steel & Stone series. And even though it’s “only” three books, I have sped through them, fallen in love with the characters and their world and have had my heart racing at the thought of coming home at night and getting to read, which is the joy of reading I have sorely missed the past few months.
So here’s what I’ve been up to in November!
Hi guys, and welcome to my September wrap up!
Well, the good news is that I managed to more or less get back on track with posting regularly in September. HUZZAH! The bad news is that my reading slump is still on and off. I mean, I WANT to read. I took 7 books with me on my 6-day holiday and I was super excited to read each and every single one. But I read just one. ONE. Plus one more during the rest of the month, which makes for a total of 2 books read this month. And boy, do I feel guilty. Am I still allowed to even call myself a book blogger here? (#dramaqueen)
Anyway, I am so looking forward to October (also known as Halloween season), so here’s hoping the October magic will work on me and turn me into a lean, mean reading machine once more. But first, let’s wrap up September!
Hi guys, and welcome to my August wrap up!
So I know it’s pretty standard to say that time flies, but seriously, where did August go? I am seriously so confused, like why is time going by so fast and I still feel like I’m getting nothing done? Even though, when I wrap it up below, it turns out I did get some things done. Just not as much as I would have wanted, ha! (Adulting is exhausting, lemme tell you!)
So without further ado, let’s get into my wrap up for August!
Hi guys, and welcome to my July wrap up!
As you may recall, I announced my first-ever semi-hiatus at the beginning of July. It was a tough decision, but I had been in a slump for too long already and I needed a little break and time to figure out a new blogging & life balance. And though I felt SUPER guilty about it, I’m happy I did it. I may not be 100% back yet, but I have a new-found drive to read and blog again. So please be patient with me over the next few weeks as I slowly but surely get back to blogging! In the meantime, let’s get into what I did during this hiatus:
Hi guys, and welcome to my June wrap up!
June was pretty… eventful. I actually didn’t read a lot, I didn’t listen to a lot of music and I didn’t watch a lot of movies and tv. But some great things did happen to me and a lot of things changed. Things that have also led me to make a blogging announcement. I’ll explain everything in my post below, but first let’s talk about what I did read/listen to/watch in June!
Hi guys, and welcome to my May wrap up!
As you may know, I’ve been in a bit of a reading (and blogging) slump for a few months now. But while I still have some slump after-effects, I can safely say that reading-wise May has been A LOT BETTER. I read quite a few books, and a lot of nice, fluffy, feel-good contemporaries amongst them, which I credit completely for helping me get out of my slump. That, and my k-pop and k-drama obsession, which I still love to pieces.
So without further ado, let’s talk about everything that happened in May!
Hi and welcome to my April wrap up!
April has been a little weird and off in a few ways…
Unfortunately my reading slump, which started in March, continued in April and as such, I only read 3 books. On the bright side, two of those books were five-star reads… I’m hoping they will have helped shake off this slump and I’m back on track for May.
My blogging slump has also continued so I am sorry for the reduced number of posts and huge delays in commenting and job hopping. On the bright side, I did get a few posts up I loved working on, like my top ten fandoms or the pros and cons of telling people about your blog.
So without further ado, let’s get into my April!
