October 2019: The Month Of Hiatusses, Deja Vu & The Best Birthday Surprise {Monthly Wrap Up}

October wrap up

Hi everybody, and welcome to my October wrap up!

October’s been pretty weird, as I finally made the decision to take a semi-hiatus from blogging. I wanted to take this time to work ahead and prepare some posts so I can stress less about getting posts up in time. Alas, we’re 3 weeks further and I’ve prepared exactly 0 posts yet so oops… this hiatus may take a bit longer than expected…

In the meantime, though, read on to see what I’ve read, listened to and watched last month.

September 2019: The Month Of Witches, Demons and Dreamcatcher Songs {Monthly Wrap Up}

September wrap up

Hi everybody, and welcome to my September wrap up!

Even though my September has been super busy and I’ve been an exhausted mess for weeks, I still managed to read 6 books. I can only thank audiobooks and the fact that now that the holidays are over, I’m once again stuck in traffic for almost 2 hours a day. Just me, myself and my audiobook 🙂 Oh, and not one, but TWO ARCS FROM MY FAVORITE AUTHOR. So you see, not all that bad! Plus, we have the OFFICIAL START OF FALL, MY FAVORITE SEASON WOOP!

Read on to see what I’ve read, listened to and watched this month.

August 2019: The Month I Read.. Who Cares, Look At These Puppy Pictures!! {Monthly Wrap Up}

August wrap up

Hi everybody, and welcome to my August wrap up!

As some of you may already know from my social media, this month is a little special because WE GOT A PUPPY! It means I didn’t get quite so much reading or TV in as I usually would, but it’s okay because PUPPY! That said, I’ll get back to the puppy below and get more into what I actually did read, watch and listen to this month first 🙂

June 2019: The Month I Binged All The Romance Books, Went On An Organizing Spree & Listened to 4 Songs On Repeat {Monthly Wrap Up}

June 2019

Hi everybody, and welcome to my June wrap up!

June was a great reading month, again thanks to audiobooks (what did I ever do without them?). For some reason, I seem to have read a whole lot of contemporary romance this month, but I have no regrets since it’s been great in getting my reading groove back. I also slowly but surely have been catching up and getting organised, so hopefully I’ll be back to my regularly scheduled programming soon enough. Oh, and music was pretty great this month too!

Basically, here’s what I’ve been up to this month:

May 2019: The Month Of Exhaustion, TV That Didn’t Live Up To Expectations and Books That Exceeded Expectations {Monthly Wrap-Up}

May 2019

Hi everybody, and welcome to my (belated) May wrap up!

As you may have noticed, I’ve been a little less active on the blog lately and that’s because I’ve been a little overwhelmed with life-stuff (apologies for that, and more info below). But my reading, listening and watching-life have been pretty good anyway (thanks to the wonderful invention of audiobooks, so I can stand in traffic for hours each week and still get my reading done!)

Here’s what I’ve been up to this month:

April 2019: The Month Of Demon Magic, An Adorable Manga & A New Favorite Drama {Monthly Wrap Up}

April 2019

Hi everybody, and welcome to my April wrap up!

Let me just say that it feels like April lasted FOREVER. It’s just that sooo much seemed to have happened. I started with some reading trouble and DNF’ed my first book of the year, Kitsune by Nicolette Andrews, because I just couldn’t get into the story. Thankfully, I read the cutest manga afterwards which seemed to get my reading groove back. I also read the latest novel by my favorite author (you-know-who 😉 ), listened to LOADS of new music and discovered my new favorite kdrama. Not too bad for one month, now is it?

Here’s what I’ve been up to this month:

March 2019: The Month Audiobooks Saved My Reading Life {Monthly Wrap Up}

March 2019

Hi everybody, and welcome to my March wrap up!

Well, is it just me or did March really just fly by? With us having moved end of February, March has been a month of getting settled again. It’s amazing how much stuff needs to be done – we’ve been doing things pretty much every evening and weekend but there’s still so much to do. I haven’t even gotten started on alerting several institutions of my address change *oops*

With everything going on, I feel like my reading is suffering a lot. I read one physical book this month, and it was spread over an entire month. I just can’t seem to focus and if I try ty sit down and relax with a book I fall asleep before my chapter is even finished. SO YAY AUDIOBOOKS FOR SAVING THE DAY! When I started listening to audiobooks, I was worried about getting an Audible subscription since I wasn’t sure I could get to one audiobook a month. This month I listed to THREE. Not good for my finances, but my reading life is pretty happy…

Here’s what I’ve been up to this month:

February 2019: The Month I Disappeared, But Now I’m Back (Almost) {Monthly Wrap Up}

February 2019

Hi everybody, and welcome to my February wrap up!

This isn’t going to be a huge wrap-up because – as you may have noticed – my blog activity kind of fizzled to zero this month. This is because I finally moved into our new home at the end of February and the weeks before and after that have been a whirlwind of activities to still get done, like painting, cleaning, packing, moving, unpacking, etc. I hope that things have now settled back into normal enough for me to get back into blogging actively, but to be honest, it’s still going to be a gradual process, so please be patient with me, my sporadic posting and terrible commenting etiquette just a liiittle while longer.

For now  though, here’s my February wrap up!
