Today’s all about one of my favorite things: quotes! But not just any quotes, no, I’m talking about OPENING LINES. You know, they carry quite a heavy burden, these opening lines. They are the first impression of a book (well, besides the cover. And blurb.) and as such they are CRUCIAL in getting the reader invested and setting the tone of the story to come. So, a really big deal.

So naturally, I have some favorite opening lines for you. (If you want to, you can alsoΒ check out part one of my favorite opening lines here. ) Enjoy!
