Welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!

Today’s all about spreading the love! It’s been 2,5 years since I started this blog and though I could write up an entire post about all the wonderful things it brought me (note to self: write this post), today I’d like to talk about probably the best part of becoming a blogger. And that is the blogging community!

Honestly, this community is filled with so many amazing, talented and wonderful bloggers that it’s just a shame not to hype them up. So this post is filled with a lot of hype. Below I share with you some awesome book blogs I definitely hope you’ll check out. Not only is each and every one of them super talented, kind and amazing at the blogging game, I also consider them my online friends. They deserve all the love, so if you’re reading this post, please go check out their blogs and give them some love by leaving them a comment and/or follow!

(Note: though I love the idea behind this post and I love spreading the love, this post also gave me quite some anxiety. Because as much as I want to, I can’t mention every single book blog I know and love here. I already cheated and listed twelve instead of ten. And there are so many good ones that I adore, not just the ones listed below. So I’m thinking of making this into a regular feature, or add in some book blogger love in my monthly wrap-ups or something. In the meantime, if your blog is not on this list, but we still interact regularly, rest assured, you are awesome and I love you )

Book Reviews By Di

Book Reviews by Di.

Starting this post off with the three awesome ladies of The Blog Squad, starting with the lovely Di! Di is my fellow Annette Marie fangirl and has a bookish taste that is very similar to my own, so naturally we get along splendidly πŸ™‚ She has well-written reviews, lovely discussion posts and has recently started her own bookstagram, which is already one of my favorites!

A Magical World of Words

A Magical World of Words

Our Blog Squad member number two is Amy from A Magical World of Words. Amy’s blog has not only got great book reviews, but also thoughtful movie reviews, writing updates and her incredibly important and well-written posts tackling romanticised abuse. So definitely check them out!

Books. Bags. Burgers

Books.Bags.Burgers

And Blog Squad member number 3 is the lovely Uma, who is also my awesome buddy reader as we read the entire Heroes of Olympus series together. She is the sweetest Percabeth and Nikolai fangirl and has an awesome bookstagramΒ that looks so good it lifts my mood just browsing through it <3

The Fictional Reader

The Fictional Reader

Shoutout to my fellow Belgian book blogger Jolien! Jolien is a well-rounded reader who posts reviews on many genres, but has a special fondness for fantasy and posts lots of thoughtful discussions. She also has her own Youtube channel which you should definitely check out. Oh, and besides books, we also share a love for kpop and kdramas which I’m always happy about πŸ™‚

Bookfever

Bookfever

My other fellow Belgian book blogger is the lovely Stephanie! Stephanie is a reader of many different genres with a preference for historical fiction. You can check out her blog for reviews, discussions, cover reveals and much more bookish goodies!

A Dance With Books

A Dance With Books

Annemieke is a Dutch book blogger who blogs in English and mostly loves fantasy. You should definitely check out her blog for lots of great fantasy reviews, some of the best discussion posts out there, lots of bookish love and just an overall amazing blogging voice!

The Bookish Libra

The Bookish Libra

You can check out Suzanne of The Bookish Libra’s blog for bookish love for many genres, but especially contemporary and historical with a dash of fantasy. Her reviews are always so thoughtful and well written and make you want to pick up the book she’s talking about right away. She’s also such a consistent and kind blogger who you can always count on to provide you with the bookish love!

Drizzle and Hurricane Books

Drizzle and Hurricane Books

Marie from Drizzle & Hurricane Books is one of the sweetest book bloggers out there. I especially love her relatable bookish discussions, documented with gifs, where she rants or raves about books and blogging alike and which make you feel like you’re just raving about bookish things with a great friend <3 Besides books, she also has a love for travelling and writing, so you can expect lots of lovely posts about that as well!

Finding Wonderland

Finding Wonderland

Rissi from Finding Wonderland is another one of my favorite bookaholics! She especially loves contemporaries and we can talk about our love of Kasie West forever. Her blog not only features gorgeous graphics, but also thoughtful reviews on books, movies and TV alike! Bonus: check out her lovely Youtube channel!

Musings of a Literary Wanderer

Musings Of A Literary Wanderer

Check out Angela from Musings Of A Literary Wanderer’s blog for thoughtful reviews on lots of different genres, but mostly contemporary, great discussion posts and other bookish fun. Other than books, Angela loves hiking and travelling (hence the title ‘literary wanderer ‘) and posts fun, picture-filled recaps of hikes and trips that will definitely get your wanderlust going!

Book Haven

Gregs Book Haven

Greg from Book Haven’s blog feels like a wonderful escape from the real world, a literal book haven. On his blog you can find lots of fantasy, dystopian and sci-fi goodness, mixed with the occasional thriller or contemporary, so it’s definitely pretty diverse. Other than books, you can also find lots of movie and tv talk, gorgeous art, and a love of used bookstores on his blog, so definitely check it out!

Wonderless Reviews

Wonderless Reviews

Lauren of Wonderless Reviews is one of the first bookish friends I made since starting this blog, so of course I had to mention her! Though she’s not as active at the moment, her blog features some of the most fun posts, ranging from book reviews (going from fantasy to horror to contemporary), thoughtful discussions, rants and helpful posts on everything ranging from comic books, to blogging, to graphic design. On top of that, she has the most awesome taste in music so go give her some love!

I know EXACTLY what you mean about listing all of our favorite bookish blogs, Lindsey. It’s impossible. I have “met” SO many amazing bloggers through this 7-year journey, and I’ve loved the experience. It’s been such a pleasure to converse with fellow bookworms, and to discover there’s so many people who love reading. πŸ™‚

It’s been way too long since I visited Jolien’s channel, and Greg is always a blogger ready to talk all things bookish.

THANK YOU so much for kindly including Finding Wonderland in your beautiful post. I’m honored – and so glad to visit your lovely blog anytime.

This community is one of THE best! Hope we can keep it going. πŸ™‚

I know, it’s so hard! But it’s okay – it just makes me think about more creative ways to spread the blogger love and not just limit it to one Top Ten Tuesday post πŸ™‚
The blogging community is so amazing, I couldn’t imagine life without it anymore – and I ADORE your gorgeous blog <3
Here's to many more amazing blogging years!

  2. Greg says:

I completely agree- the community is so amazing. And it is hard to list blogs because we just want to list ALL our favorites- I had the same problem. But you said that so well I really have nothing to add to it! I just nodded my head as I read it.

All of these blogs I am either very or somewhat familiar with, and I couldn’t agree more- they’re all awesome. And thank you for including me! I’m honored to be in such good company. πŸ™‚

Thanks, Greg! Yes the bookish community is amazing, I couldn’t imagine my life without it anymore πŸ™‚
And you’re welcome! You’re one of the first blogging friends I made here and your blog still inspires me every day so naturally I’d hype it up!

    • Lindsey Habets says:

I know, I feel like I’m letting down other blogs who are just as awesome πŸ™ But that only means I need to come up with ways to spread the love more often, not just in a Top Ten Tuesday post.
You are so very welcome Annemieke, I adore your blog so of course I’d hype you up <3
There can definitely never be enough blogs to follow πŸ˜‰

  3. Di @ Book Reviews by Di says:

Oh my gosh Lindsey! You are the absolute sweetest. Thanks so much for mentioning me and I am in such amazing company here! I love your blog too and you would definitely be in my top 10! But I totally hear you on how hard it is to choose only 10 bloggers πŸ™ˆ

Here’s to more Annette Marie goodness soon! I’m equally excited for and nervous about Guild Codex. It isn’t something I would normally pick up based on the blurb alone but because it’s Annette Marie I’m there!

I totally know what you mean about The Guild Codex! The cover and title wouldn't normally speak to me, but since it's Annette Marie I know I have to try it and let her blow my mind yet again πŸ™‚

Aww Lindsey you’re so sweet, thank you for the words!! I’m honoured to be among so many amazing bloggers, and that includes yourself <3

I'm gonna check out the blogs I haven't already! Thanks for the great list πŸ™‚

Hope your August is going well so far?

    • Lindsey Habets says:

Thanks so much Amy! You’re the best and your blog is awesome so you deserve all the love and hype <3
My August's been great so far, much better than July but that may be because the weather's finally less scorchingly hot πŸ™‚ How have you been? I need to catch up on your blog urgently!

  5. Olivia says:

I’ve been browsing blogs all morning long and I thought I left a comment here, but I don’t think I ended up leaving a comment (at one point I had like 40 tabs open, won’t be repeating that again). You added some blogs to my ever-growing list, thank you for sharing πŸ™‚

Thank you so much for including me, Lindsey! That is so sweet! I follow a lot of these blogs, too, so it’s nice to be in such good company. I’m glad we found each other’s blogs in this community, yours is definitely one I look forward to reading!

    • Lindsey Habets says:

Oh yeah, I’m totally feeling super guilty and anxious for not including so many other amazing blogs, such as yours! <3
But it did make me start thinking of ways to share the love more in other posts, so at least that's positive πŸ™‚

  7. Stephanie @ Bookfever says:

Aw, thank you for mentioning me. I really didn’t expect it. And I’m so glad you mentioned the historical fiction thing too because I feel like not a lot of people know it’s my favorite. Also will have to check out the other blogs you featured because I don’t know all of them yet. β™₯

    • Lindsey Habets says:

Thanks so much! But yeah, the anxiety is the worst part about this topic! But it did get me determined to feature all my favorite blogs in some form or another in the future, so there’s that at least πŸ™‚

  8. Suzanne @ The Bookish Libra says:

This really was one of the hardest posts to do and I love your idea of making it a more regular feature to show love to even more of the wonderful blogs out there. A couple of these are new to me, but I love all of the ones from your list that I’m familiar with so will definitely check out the ones I haven’t visited before. And thanks so much for including me! I honestly didn’t expect to see my blog on anyone’s list so this really made my day πŸ™‚

  9. Jolien @ The Fictional Reader says:

Thank you so much for including me on your list! I love that we share a taste in K-pop and K-dramas too! I haven’t watched any in a while, so I might need one to start…

I’m definitely checking out the other blogs on your list I’m not already following! πŸ˜€

  10. Marie @ Drizzle & Hurricane Books says:

Oh wow, thank you so, SO much for mentioning me on this incredible list, this means the world to me! < 3 <3 I don't know all of these bloggers so I'll have to check them out, they all sound fantastic.
