Hi everybody, and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!

Today’s topic is all about fictional characters who would make great leaders. I’m putting a little twist on the topic and changing it to characters who would be great social media trendsetters. If these characters would be on social media, I’m pretty sure they would quickly amass quite a following in their particular niche. So here they go:

Cress by Marissa Meyer Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Cress from The Lunar Chronicles

Computer science blogger and Youtube tutorial maker. When it comes to computers, Cress is our go-to-woman. From the little computer queries to the more complicated, almost-illegal-but-not, she’d have us covered. Plus could you imagine little guest posts by Thorne?

Warner from the Shatter Me series

Fashion instagrammer. With his sense of style, Warner’s instagram would be on fire. In between all those fashion pictures would be some puppies here and there, which would only broaden his appeal

Katniss from The Hunger Games

Hunting and survival blogger.  This speaks for itself, doesn’t it? When it comes to survival skills, Katniss would be the best to teach us all.

To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han the-gentlemans-guide-to-vice-and-virtue-by-mackenzi-lee Wanderlost by Jen Malone

Lara Jean from To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before

Cooking & Baking vlogger. I’m already mouth-watering just thinking about the cooking and baking videos Lara Jean could make.

Monty from The Gentleman’s Guide To Vice and Virtue

Youtube vlogger. Could there be a more hilarious vlogger than Monty? I’d watch his videos just to hear his little insights and perspective on things and his humor. Can you imagine how hilarious his follow-me-around vlogs would be?

Aubree from Wanderlost

Travel blogger. Just as reading this book made me feel all the wanderlust, I’m sure reading Aubree’s travel blog posts and watching her pictures of the places she visited would do the same!

Wires and Nerve by Marissa Meyer & Doug Holgate Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

Iko from The Lunar Chronicles

Fashion and lifestyle vlogger. While Warner would have the serious (and gorgeous) side of fashion covered, Iko would be the hilarious and fun fashion blogger that you wish could be your best friend so you could get her personal fun fashion and life-related advice daily.

Sturmhund from the Grisha trilogy

Inventions and engineering web series. Sturmhund would be the perfect person to make science  and engineering super fun and attractive. I’m thinking he would be the perfect host for a show like Mythbusters, one that’s both funny and educational.

Dorian from Throne of Glass

Book blogger. If there’s any fellow book blogger out there in the fictional world, it would be Dorian, right? Plus, there would also be puppies, which would make his blog all the more attractive. I’d be a subscriber, that’s for sure!

WHO DO YOU THINK WOULD MAKE A GREAT SOCIAL MEDIA trendsetter? WHO WOULD YOU DEFINITELY subscribe to?

Lindsey, this topic is WAY fun!! I love the spin you put on this week’s list. I had lots of trouble coming up with characters to fit certain “jobs” or titles, etc., but this spin is fabulous. Well done!

As is the usual, I haven’t met any of these characters, but what I do know of them (Lara Jean, in particular), it sounds like you’ve paired excellent social media themes with their characters! So fun. 🙂

Thanks so much Rissi! It was a tricky topic for sure, one of the hardest ones in a while!
I really wish Lara Jean actually was a real food blogger! But alas, we’ll just need to read the books and use our imagination 🙂

Oh I LOVE your tweak on this week’s topic, Lindsey! I put a similar spin on my list this week and went with fashion trendsetters. But this post is so fun and it’s a great list. I can totally see Lara Jean as a food vlogger! 🙂

I LOVE you twist on this topic. Social media! I’ve got one such on my list, but never thought of the whole topic. Brilliant! And great choices, too.

Oh this is such an amazing take for this week’s topic, I LOVE IT SO MUCH and all of these characters and their little trends are just ON POINT. I could totally see Cress doing computer science blogging, Warner would be especially awesome as a fashion instagrammer, and most of it all. LARA JEAN AS A FOOD BLOGGER, that would be like, A DREAM come true, for all of us to discover her amazing recipes ahah 😛
    GREAT post! 😀

Haha yeah, writing this post just made me really, really wish these characters were actual real-life bloggers/vloggers. I’d LOVE to discover Lara Jean’s recipes, Jenny Han should have included them in the books, haha 🙂
